Hi everyone. I recently came across this great site and I have a few questions for you. DH, DS(6), DD(4) and I went on our first family vacation to WDW in March. As an avid scrapper, you know I'm dying to do the album but I'm stuck. Here are my questions:

Do you prefer to scrap Disney chronologically, by topic (ie rides, meals, hotel, characters, etc), by park, or what and why do you do it.

Do you make a few pages for another album you have, such as your child's album, or do you have only Disney albums.

What's something that you didn't think you would scrap from your trip, but did and you are glad you did it--think quirky events or food or a meeting with a stranger.

TIA. Any help is very much appreciated! I have really enjoyed looking at LOs here and scraplifting ideas already!

I tend to scrap chronologically our Disney vacations.... I typically scrap the way we travelled the world.....

I do typically make a page for each of the kids' books and several pages of the family albums for the year....

Crazy things I scrapped.. well, I used the streamers from the HSM float that my kids gathered from their show... clouds before the storms... birds on top of the shurbs down by Casey's counter service... :)
The kids going through the turnstyles....

I do mine by park; a section for MK, EPCOT, etc.
One trip, we had so many character pics that I did a separate album just for those.

I tend to do both. I normally start off with the hotel then go to the parks. On each layout the pictures are layed out in chronological order!
Hope this makes sense:lmao:

On my recent trip I collect 100 autographs, when I came home I matched the autograph up with the picture then I sorted them into A-Z by not inly movie title but character name!! This book was a HUGE hit on the 100th day of school

Thank you, ladies. As much as I've scrapbooked, I'm a little scared to even start the book as I don't want to mess it all up. I put my pages in chronologically, but don't always scrap them in order.

just take baby steps and scrap what moves you for the day....
I scrap chronologically but tend to scrap through my piles.... so if the pile has disney/birthday/bowling...than I just scap them and put them into the pile for the appropriate book... could explain why I have about 7 projects going!

I've only done 2 scrapbooks. The first was for 3 day park/4 day cruise. They have discontinued the park icon paper pack at Disney. The 3 day portion was scrapped by park using the icon paper for each one. The 4 day cruise was scrapped as an ABC for general pics, then layouts on the room, dining, the shows, castaway cay, pirate party and New Years Eve. We went back to Disney after the cruise and stayed at Fort Wilderness. We did Hoop De Doo that evening before flying home the next day. My second book was scrapped chrolongically by the park I was in for that day. I replaced the screw with Pioneer's snap load so I can make the books as large as I like.
