No, blanq, you're not a mean mom. We didn't do anything real special for DS3 when he broke his arm (unless you count the reams of cards DD6 brings home for him). We tried to make him as comfortable as possible and tried to take the focus off of his injury. Oh, and I did get him a new white board for his pin removal day (they used a vice grip to yank them out of his arm, no anesthesia). He loves white boards, and it's a 90-minute drive to the hospital he needed to go to.
