@garneska the health insurance scam is getting out of control. Once in a blue moon, someone here will need a quick visit to the health system. They’ll send a bill. I’ll call and tell them we are paying out of pocket and the bill magically reduces to 50% of the original bill.

Hospitals & Health Insurance - it’s like the tail wagging the dog.

Hospitals move the price up because they know the insurance will, at best, only offer to pay 50% of whatever is billed. As long as insurance is allowed to run unchecked hospitals have no choice but to raise the cost to compensate for it. I've worked healthcare for 27 years and i assure you, nobody hates insurance companies more than the medical field.

However, DO NOT want to cause a discussion to get this long beloved thread closed so @garneska hope those knees keep getting better.

Happy Spring all!!! We have some nice weather this weekend so I hope to get a few things done around the yard and maybe get a chance to wash the truck and RV. I need to really do a good look over like I do every spring.

Race season is getting into full swing as well. Got events nearly every other week till May when I get a break for the month. Then back at it in June till we leave for vacation.

I noticed down at Daytona some of the my springs on the trailer started to look kinda flat. I am going get under there with a straight edge to help me see if they really are, or if its an optical illusion. If they are flat, I guess time to order new spring packs and bushings....

The countdowns continue as well. We are 83 calendar days to end of the school year, and 97 days from our Vero Beach and cruise vacation!!! We are defintely looking forward to it! We also decided and booked just a long weekend for Melissa and I in October to go enjoy the food and wine festival. We thought about closer to Christmas or even Thanksgiving, but that brought other challenges including me needing to travel for work in November.

We also have a July trip planned for Anchor Down in TN. It has always been a bucket list resort, though might be a kid free trip (other then this overaged one typing.)

Hope everyone else is getting to enjoy the end of winter and enjoy some travels this year.
