Well i have to say for my first cruise ever it was very memorable, in fact i have watched my videos 2-3 times and look at the pictures everyday. Disney definitely knows how to do it right. My cruise was from oct. 23-30 western cruise to key west, costa maya, cozumel and of course castaway cay. The sailaway parties were awesome, the band was great, the entertainment was great, never a dull moment. I met alot of great people on the cruise, and even for a single person made every moment enjoyable, and even met a special someone on the cruise, you never know what disney magic brings.

The food was great, plenty of variety...seafood, beef, buffet, pasta's, and if you are very americanized, they even had burgers and chicken fingers on deck at pluto's. Scoops (the ice cream place) was great, i think i went there almost everyday.

Well i just wanted to post this for those who may wonder, and in case anyone is wondering, i booked for next oct 29-nov 5 eastern cruise to st. martin/st. thomas.

Thanks for the report!

What was your favorite port other than CC? What did you do there? I am going on the western next year and CAN'T WAIT!

Sounds like you had a WONDERful trip Patrick.

How did CC look? Is the green back, or is there still alot of brown? Hope the view is as beautiful, parasailing, as it was last year.

We will be sailing on the 13th on the Eastern 7 night and can hardly wait. We actually are leaving home this Saturday and spending the week at the House of Mouse. This will go down as my best vacation ever.::MickeyMo ::MinnieMo

Castaway Cay was awesome...we got off the ship around 8 or 9 in the am and got back on about 4....the time seemed to fly by. We didn't do any booked excursions. We did however ride the banana boat, word of advice if you do it, have goggles on so you can see....i had enough salt on my face after the ride for about 12 shots of tequila. The water was very clear, while on the banana boat ride, they took us out about a quarter mile or so and we could see about 12-15 feet down, it was beautiful. We also snorkeled out by the boui's A & B....lots of colorful fish, even found the hidden mickey out there. Wasn't too impressed with the other ports though, cozumel and costa maya that is. Then again costa maya is very new...and well i was kinda wasn't feeling well at cozumel so i am sure that adds to my experience there. Next year i am definitely doing more excursions. This year i wanted to do and see everything, but there is way too much for just one trip.
