1BD BWV Standard View Room - Help!

We have a reservation for a 1BD BWV Standard View Room. Could anyone give me any advise to possible make a request for a certain room or area? Could anyone also give me an idea where the standard view rooms would be? This is my first trip to the World. Any and all help is appreciated!

Wow, your first trip to The World! Very exciting, I'm sure!

The Boardwalk Villas Standard View rooms are almost all along the driveway leading up to the registration entrance to the resort. The views are pretty much the same with the following variances:

You can request upper floors or lower floors

Smoking or non-smoking

Handicap accessible or not

Near the elevators (only one set of them) or not.

Beyond that, they are all pretty much the same unless I'm forgetting something.

The other thing to know is that requests are just that....Disney makes no guarantees that they will be met. I think they try really hard on the smoking/non-smoking, and if there are any health reasons for that, H/A or near the elevators be sure to let them know that.

When I book standard view, I request upper floor, accross from the bus stop. That would give you a good Illuminations view but not too far from the elevators.
