We really liked it! We went for breakfast and the food was good and so was the character interaction. It was a great character meal.. MUCH better than Chef Mickeys. Our favorites were the strawberry soup and the tea selection
We went this past summer for the first time. I wanted to ty it, but I was very hesitant and leaning toward cancelling it because it only received mediocre reviews. I am so glad we didn't cancel it. It turned out to be one of our fav. meals while at WDW. We ate there for dinner. The food was delicious and the character interaction was the best! They all interacted very well with my girls. The stepsisters were a complete riot!! We all loved it! I say don't cancel it and try it for yourself or you'll always wonder about it.
I had ADRs for breakfast last October. Just before we left for vacay, I cx'd cause of some so so reviews & comments I read. Let me say...I have been kicking myself ever since! This is now a MUST for me next time.
We have eaten there for both breakfast and dinner and we like the breakfast the best. We actually like the characters a lot more at breakfast than at dinner too, there was nothing wrong with the Tremains, they just weren't as funny as the Mad Hatter and Alice. The food at breakfast is really good (loved the strawberry soup) and the service was really good as well. We originally were not going to go back in May, wanted to try something new, but my girls really wanted to see the characters and have the strawberry soup again .
We've eaten there multiple times; it's one of my family's favorite places to be when we are at the World.
My DD is a big Mary Poppins fan, so she loves the breakfast there. She is also a princess-in-training, so 1900 PF for dinner lets her see Cinderella and the other characters. One time she got to dance with Cinderella and Prince Charming - one of our very favorite memories ever!
I personally love the strawberry soup! The place tends to get a little noisy but the food is fine and we have always had very good service.
we loved it too !! the food is pretty good, but the character interaction is HILARIOUS!!! we did dinner our first night and the step sisters were the best part. My DD5 laughed so hard when they were teasing her. And the step mother...well, that was priceless. She walks around w/ this look like "children are smelly and dirty and i don't want those rugrats near me" ! it's awesome. (oh, and the desserts are to die for!!)
Breakfast was super fun. The mad hatter is so funny. My DD was actually scared (or shy) of Bert. How weird is that? she loved Mary Poppins though. Again, the food was terrific. (they make a wonderful quiche and omelettes)
It's a great time no matter which meal you pick.
( we actually did not like Chef Mickey's at all.... it was SUPER loud and very dirty around the food areas....that's one that we won't go back to )
It has been years since we have been here so I went for dinner last year and it wasn't that good. I know it's a buffet just didn't care for there selection. But that's my family. We love Chef Mickey's.
This is one of our favorites given we have young children. Its buffet so there is always something they like. And the ice cream machine with all the toppings makes there meal complete! For the adults they had a carving station with prime rib so my husband was happy. I think I had a little of everything. Cinderella and the Prince came to our table and it was not a fly by. Sometimes it takes them awhile to work thru the room but when they got to our table they made it worth it. The step sisters make a train that they can follow like a little parade : )
This is one our favorites. We think it has the best character buffet at WDW. The characters are different for breakfast and dinner, but the interaction is the best. It is not horribly loud or chaotic and the food selection is great!
This is my favorite place for breakfast! Dinner was awesome too just not as good as breakfast. I loved all the characters and they spent a lot of time with us each time we went.
We had dinner there last trip and we loved it so much taht we are going back for breakfast and dinner next trip! It was DH and my favorite character meal because the Termaines are a riot! The food was also really good and they had many dishes outside of the regular Disney buffet fair.
It's typical Disney buffet fare. (The only buffet I wouldn't eat at again is Chef Mickey's.) Nothing gourmet but you can find some tasty things. There are occasions where it's hit and miss... but it is not consistantly bad. It is so worth it for the characters. They are great for breakfast and dinner. The best is the Step Sisters at Dinner.
We have been for both dinner and breakfast and both are very good. It is probably one of our favorite character meals, and we've been to nearly all of them. The food is much better than Chef Mickey's, IMO, although we still enjoy CM's for the characters. We went for my oldest daughter's 6th birthday, and we'll be going back this summer on her 8th birthday!
We really didn't like it for breakfast, but the characters were great. The Mad Hatter is by FAR the best in the parks. Love that guy! He is my avatar photo.
