I loved all the teeny desserts on the dessert bar, the prime rib with horseradish sauce, and the Caesar salad. I ate so much prime rib and desserts I don't remember much else.

We enjoyed the meal. We had an ADR booked for this trip, but had to change it because some family members would be joining us for part of our trip. But we'll definitely go back.

I totally agree! The strawberry soup is wonderful! I love it!

The red skin/sweet potato mashed potatoes are really good, too! And for breakfast I love the bagel topping area. I really like this buffet.

Since foods do change on the buffet (have eaten there the last 5 or 6 years) I won't guarantee all will be there, but the salad bar always has nice mozzarella tomato salad, marinated cucumber salad, always a nice pasta dish with cream sauce, always a nice meat selection: carved and in sauces, and a great selecton of mini desserts.

Is it gourmet?...Not really, but there is plenty to enjoy....Take little bits, and go back for what you really like!...It is not a crazy big buffet!

BTW, they do always have the strawberry soup, and it is lots of cream and pureed fruit: RICH!

We have been several times. DW really likes the Strawberry Soup. I like their Prime Rib - not the best - but good. They had a seafood/ shrimp dish 10 years ago that was excellent, but I have not seen it since.

They also have some great desserts, I liked the bread pudding w/ vanilla sauce and an ice cream machine. Plus, the characters are really fun here.

I remember really liking the chocolate mousse dessert and everyone in my family seemed to enjoy the baked chicken (my son went back for seconds and thirds.) The Strawberry soup wasn't as good as I expected it to be after reading everyone rave about it here, but it was still good....sometimes reading up on the food can be good (I wouldn't have known to go find a Dole Whip Float without the DIS boards) and other times it can lead to unreasonably high expectations (Strawberry Soup and Zebra Domes for me.)

We had a really good experience with the breakfast this past February. The food on the buffet was very fresh. They had a nice little set up with bagel fixings which I loved. And they also offered the strawberry soup. They also had this really tasty peach bread pudding and create your own omelets. Yum! The characters were good, but we found out of the five there Pooh and Tigger were the best and most friendly. We saw them multiple times while we only saw Alice, Mad Hatter and Mary Poppins once.

Okay.. I'm sort of a weirdo.. I pretty much had it as my meal. My husband still laughs about it. We were there for dinner and while there were tons of options on the buffet, I just really loved the strawberry soup. I think I had three servings of it. The server noticed how much I loved it and even gave me the recipe.

Can you describe the soup...is it hot or cold? Sweet or savory? I just can't imagine it...I don't like fruit in with my vegetables, ala strawberries in salad, etc...is it kind of like that?

It's a chilled sweet soup. Here's the recipe so you can see exactly what it is.

2 lb., 8 oz. strawberries (frozen variety, thawed with juice)
16 oz. heavy cream
2 oz. sour cream
3 oz. plain yogurt
8 oz. fresh strawberries

1. Mix first four ingredients.
2. Beat slowly until well mixed and a smooth consistency.
3. Chill; shake well before serving.
4. Add fresh strawberries as garnish.
