I was just looking at their menu and thinking about having dinner there, hopefully Christmas Day. It appears that Cinderella and Prince Charming hang out there? I have a 20 year old son ( who is enthralled with Disney) and my dh and I. Is it to Princess-like princess: (girly) for us? I am purely going for the menu, but my son hasn't been to a character meal since he was 3 or 4. Thought he might get a kick out of seeing them.

The new Parke Faire dinner features Cinderella, Prince Charming, her stepmother and the two stepsisters. I've heard a lot of great things about this meal and the pictures I've seen look fabulous. We're adding this to our next trip.

I'll bet the stepsisters would have a blast with your 20 year old. Apparently they go up to the young men and ask their mother if he would be a good match. I guess the question is, would this make your son uncomfortable -- would it be too corny -- or would it be funny for all of you.

p.s. oops...I just noticed that you're asking this of someone who has been already -- I haven't but have read quite a bit about it on the boards. :)

No, it's not too "girly". If it were, my DS9 would not enjoy it!!

If you are talking about THIS Christmas though, you should call quickly. I made my ADR for Christmas Eve dinner there back in June. Hope you get it!!

THank you both!!! (It's okay that you haven't been there miles family, you've got the info I was looking for. ;) ) That sounds like a lot of fun, and I think he'd get a kick out of it. He is not the shy type :cool1: but I think I'll let it be a surprise. ;) I will call today and hope for the best. I never realized you had to call so early until last year. You'd think I would have learned :confused3. Thanks again for your help, the menu sounds absolutely yummy and a lot of fun too! Oh yea, one more thing.....can we take the monorail there? or is it better to drive? Not sure which park we'll be at on Christmas Day. We did Epcot in the rain last year because we did the candlelight processional. I've heard that Magic Kingdom is a REAL zoo on Christmas Day.

So glad we could help -- and I hope that your family has a wonderful time! :)

Park Faire is certainly accessible by monorail. I've never been to the parks on Christmas Day, though, so I don't know if the crowds on Disney transportation makes it preferable to drive.

Does anyone else know??

We just did this last week and LOVED it! The stepsisters would have a blast with your son if he was into it. They were playing around with a young man at the table next to us about how handsome he was and one of them asked him to marry her. It was a very funny dinner and the characters were so on point it was really neat! Food was great too! :cloud9:

I was just at park faire last week with my parents. It was alittle noisy, but I loved it. They had Cinderella, prince charming. The mean step mother and the 2 step sisters. Your son would have a blast there. The Step mother and sisters are on the look out for any young single men and they reallly play up up them. It is newly remodeled and I thought the buffet was wonderful. I am sure at Christmas it would be extra special! Good luck.

Well, now that I got all excited to go there, they are totally full all day on Christmas.:sad1: BUT I will keep trying as I know there are cancellations at times. I think I will make a reservation for another day just in case. Thanks again for all your help.:)
