I'm planning a surprise trip for my DH (again) and this time we'll be staying at the GF. This is long weekend at the end of Sept. into the beginning of October and the main reasons for the trip is my DH's birthday (which is Oct. 7th) and MNSSHP. My DH loves Halloween and Disney - especially together. I surprised him last year and it was great! I want to do it again!

So we'll be checking into the GF around 4pm on our arrival day. We will be travelling with our 2 kids - ages 2 and 4 - and friends of ours who have only been to Disney 1 or 2 times. We will be dining at LTT on 10/2 before MNSSHP. That's a character meal my DS loves. So, should I book 1900 for my DD who loves Cinderella? Or keep it kind of low-key since it is our 1st travel day? We won't be making that many ADR's since we're going this July, too, and have TOO MANY ADR's  .

Having dined at both I think the food is about equal. Would you just dive in to the whole Disney character experience or keep things quiet the first night?

Just looking for opinions. Thanks!

I loved the 1900 Park fare, because you will see Cindrella-(you never know if you will see her again). My kids like it too because they eat at their pace(I have bigger eaters). I went with a friend frome home and her childrenso we were 4 A and 5c...and I can say we had a very relaxing time (If you have DDE all the better )
