Opinions / advice please.
I'm trying to decide between 1900 Park Fare and Chef Mickeys for late breakfast / early lunch. Although, I am open to other suggestions.
We are two adults. No kids.
Don't care about meeting characters. Just trying to burn a remaining TS credit.
Never been to either restaurant before.
This meal will be our first meal of this Disney trip, so I was looking for something fun to set the tone.
We are staying at Coronado and plan on doing a half day at MK starting around 1pm. I'm not really seeing any great TS in the park to book. I have BOG and LTT booked for a different day, and those are really our only must do restaurants in MK. We are burnt out on CP, used to be our go to before-park-ADR back when it counted, and CRT is 2 credits, so that is out as we only have 1 credit left. I don't think we have time to go to DS or any of the non-MK hotels, so that really only leaves the MK hotels which is how I came up with the above options.
My delima:
I like the menu for 1900 Park Fare but am not a big fan of the decor. It reminds me of CP, and I'm not sure I want to do something so similar. Especially, if the characters ended up being WTP characters. I could just book CP, and it would be in the park, saving me travel time.
I like the fun Mickey theme of CM which I think would set the right tone for the start of the trip, but I'm not a fan of a lot of what is listed on the menu.
Both of us have pretty simple tastes. We are pretty stereotypical middle class southern girls. We like Crackerbarrel, Sweet Tomatoes, PF Chang, Chipotle, and Carrabbas, to name a few chains people might be familiar with. The Three Broomsticks is one of our favorite restaurants at Uni, followed by Bubba Gump, Cowfish, and the Kitchen. We aren't looking for a gourmet meal.
Any thoughts, ideas are welcome.
Thanks
