::MickeyMo Hi all!

I've heard wonderful things about 1900 Park Fare for breakfast, but what about dinner? We'll be going there for the first time this May after our Grand Romantic Evening. Thanks for the opinions! ::MinnieMo

It's probably about the best character meal at WDW. Tasty food, good interaction, great service, nice atmosphere.

It's NOT however what I'd call romantic, lots of kidlets, a tad on the noisy side when Big Bertha plays, while elegantly casual, the empahsis is on casual.

::MickeyMo That's absolutely fine. We thought it would be nice to experience the GF. V&A is nowhere near my tastes as I tend to be very picky (not liking seafood or veggies). I'm looking forward to seeing that organ! ::MinnieMo

There are two other very good restaurants at the GF that you might want to consider.

Citrico's is arguably the best restaurant at WDW. I rate it in the top two, it's only rival is JIKO IMHO, although tow more different places couldn't be found.

Although upscale, it's not so to the level of V&A's, chino's and polo's are fine for dining there. The menu is also not quite as gourmet, while still being quite inspired. The atmosphere is quite romantic.

Also the Grand Floridian Cafe is a great choice. Casually elegant, this restaurant has the elegant qualities of the GF, while still be a place that park attire is the norm. It's generally a quiet place, seldom crowded and the tables are nicely spaced for private conversation.

::MickeyMo Off topic: I'm from central NJ too!

On topic: GF Cafe sounds good. I think I'll check out the menu and possibly add it to our schedule. Thanks! ::MinnieMo

GF Cafe is great. It is such a lovely place to relax, take in the views and have a tasty meal. We were so enamored of the place the first time we stayed at the GF, that it's our check-in day tradition to go straight there for lunch after we check-in - what great memories!

Back on-topic, dinner at 1900 PF is a great meal; definitely one of the best, IMHO.

Love 1900 Park Fare one of my favorite character meals.
