We have booked dinner at 1900 Park Fare this upcoming trip. My DD3 is a HUGE Cinderella fan. She loved CRT dinner and AKershus lunch last trip so we are doing both again this trip. I saw that 1900 is Cinderella and friends. DD is thrilled that she may get to meet the Prince - she said that she wants to dance with him!!! Can anyone give me the lowdown on this meal. Is the food good - DH is curious. Who all (characters) are there and how much interaction is there. Also, what is the dress code. The GF always seems to formal to me.

We were there for dinner last year. I thought it was wonderful. The characters we saw were Cinderella and Prince Charming, Lady Tremaine ( the Stepmother) and the two step sisters. They were hilarious. They kept making fun of each other, and winking at all the boys. One of them chased a little boy around the table trying to get a kiss. He was giggling the whole time. Every so often someone would announce Cinderella and the Prince and they enter the room. We met all of the characters, great interaction and very entertaining. The food was good, I can't remember that far back but I don't remember anything being bad. We had a wonderful server, and it was fun to check out the Grand Floridian, it's so beautiful. We were there around Thanksgiving so we saw the Gingerbread house and Christmas decorations. We're leaving on Saturday to go back again, I have ADRs for there again. We loved it, and I hope you have a great time, too.

Oh, I forgot to mention the dress code thing. I don't think there is a specific dress code. We were very casual, we had come from Animal Kingdom that day and the kids had gotten very wet, so we did change them but it was shorts and tops. My daughter wore her Cinderella t shirt. There were a few girls dressed up, princessy, but I think it was pretty casual. It really was fun, I think your daughter will love it!

We wore casual clothes, shorts and tshirts.

Yep, Cinderella, Prince Charming and the Tremaines are they. They are HILARIOUS!!!:rotfl: Best character interaction of our trip. We would go back in a heartbeat.

I mostly remember the desserts at the buffet (of course:laughing: ) but the bread pudding and strawberry soup is excellent. I remember thinking the food was very good.

You will love it there! We are going back in a few weeks for dinner!

We did the CRT and Akershus last year and 1900 PF this year and we loved it!!! While CRT and The AKershus each were special...the 1900 PF was the families favorite. This would include the food, the atmosphere, the characters and interactions!!!

The food was wonderful and that is from the ages of 47 down to 6!

The characters were: Cinderella, Prince, Step sisters, Lady Tremain. I have the custest pic of DD6 just dreamily looking up at the Prince while he was talking to here and signing her book...(I will definately save that one to show at her graduation..it is too cute) The step sisters were hilarious...DS 17 and 19 played along and their sisters Loved it. The stepsisters were winking and telling DSs not to pay mind to Cinderella...just them! They were a hoot.
The step mother was funny,,, she lets us know that we were not at the table when she arrived... and she was not happy about it. HA ha.
The prince did a little dance w/DD6 and both DDs danced out on the floor w/Drucilla.

As for the dress.... DD6 went full bore...she wore evening gloves, belle dress, golden slippers, the crown... pretty much the works. DD9 wore cute pink shorts and white summer top and a tiara..... they both fit in w/o a problem.

DSs wore shorts and t-shirts as did DH... there were a lot of others that were dressed up and dressed down.

You will be glad you had the experience. Have fun!!!

We're going to go here in April...my daughter will absolutely LOVE to meet Prince Charming! We "fight" over who's Prince Charming my husband is...mine or hers...:rotfl: . She's quite the Daddy's Girl! And, I'm looking forward to my boys getting embarrassed by the step sisters as well:rotfl2: .

I agree with others...LOVED the characters here. The interaction was the best of any character meal. DDs were watching them the whole time we were there. We actually ate here for Thanksgiving dinner last week, and all of us loved the food as well. Have a great time!

I am glad to read thi sI plan on giving 1900 Park Fare a try for dinner. I currently have CRT reservations which I am debating cancelling. Glad to hear this is good.

We were there last month for dinner. My husband and I really enjoyed the food. The desserts were great. Cinderella, Prince Charming, Step-mother and both step-sisters were there. Everyone was really in character when they visited the tables. My youngest son loved it, my oldest was a little embarassed.

We were dressed very casually. It was a cold spell and we only had a few warm clothes so we wore them over and over!

From the view of 2 adults with no kids. This was the worse place we have been for interaction.
And first we waited about 45 minutes to get seated (this was a few weeks ago).
We got a table at the back of the room.
The 2 step sisters stopped by....one was great, the other just said hi and moved on.
That was it. None of the others came over to visit us.
It was hard getting to the food section as there were kids sitting and playing all over the floor in the middle of the room.
The food was alright. The menu had changed since I had printed it out and there were less options for us to pick from what I was expecting....diet restrictions.
So....I would not do it again. CRT was so much better, as was Chef Mickey's.
We have been tp 1900 for breakfast a few years ago and enjoyed that much more. Of course, no Cinderella ;)
