1900 Park Fare dinner

With all the concern over characters (I also want the stepfamily there!) one of us should put up a survey to see how likely it will be that they are not there. If I have time, maybe I will do that a bit later...

I looked at the menu, and while I may be in the minority, I am excited. Fried catfish? Yum! Taco bar? Sure! Add the pick and peel shrimp and mashed potatoes and I will be all set!

I'm in the exact same boat as you. With the menu change, I don't think there's much there my husband & I will like but I want to take my daughter cause I think she'll be over the moon with the characters. I keep going back and forth on what I'm going to do.

When are you going? Let me know what you decide? I currently have an ADR for both WCC and 1900 (I know, I know - it's mean to take up two). I just can't decide! I'm going to keep an eye on the menu. If this change is badly received, I'd imagine they'd try to fix it.

We usually do this dinner on our arrival day. I was just looking at it on the Disney sight & it mentions Cinderella & Prince Charming, but not the tremaine family. Are they still at the dinner? Thx.

Well, we were told that they were Naughty.... and they would not be there. We were so disappointed that they were not there. We had Lady Tramine, Prince Charming, Cinderella and Princess Aurora. It was just ok... Definitely not what we were hoping for. It was just my DH and I.

That could make sense. Seems like they'd find a way to have 2 of each character though. (Not that there are 2 of any character - what?!) If the party is the reason, that would help my ADR as it's in February.

We ate there on a party night last week. The step-sisters were both there, but the Fairy Godmother was there in place of Lady Tremaine.

Was there 10/17 had the whole Tremaine family plus Cinderella and price charming. Agree that the tremaine family really makes the dinner. My husband and I really liked the food much better than some of the other Disney buffets (thinking of crystal palace, chef mickey's, cape may cafe)-seemed like a better assortment of foods.

We went to park fare tonight - Nov 12. Step sisters, step mom, Cinderella & fairy godmother were there. Everyone was really great.

Food was as listed above. Too much seafood for my family (we don't eat any) but no fishy smell to the place. The beef was really good & the mashed potatoes was too. My 18 month old went crazy for the strawberry soup!

We had all the characters and the interaction was amazing! We are going again in Dec. so I hope it is the same. Stepsisters definitely are the best! Not thrilled about the new menu(thanks to PPs who mentioned it - never thought to look), but DD will love the taco bar and I'm glad the strawberry soup is still there. It seems really all over the place though with catfish and sushi?! A little too much seafood for me, but we will see how it goes. Excited to see the giant gingerbread house again while we are there!

No, you can not.
First, you can't call the location directly and the people on the phone won't have a clue
Second, they won't tell you even if you walk up to the counter and ask. At least they are not supposed to
