This is the first time I have thought far enough ahead of time to make 180 plus 10 reservations. My DVC reservation is one week long. So, if I use the 180 plus 10 system, will I be able to make my reservations for my entire room rental, or do I have to make the reservations day by day and either go online or call in each day? My 180 plus 10 time starts October 1st. :cool2:

At the 180 day mark (Oct 1st) you'll be able to make ADR's for your whole stay! Good luck getting everything you want!

Hello from a former Western New Yorker! :wave2:

We're also close to making our ADRs (October 8th) and will be staying at AKV on rented DVC points April 6th-16th. My big concern is that when you go to the Disney Dining reservation site online, and try to enter 180 +10 it asks for your reservation confirmation number to confirm that you are a Disney resort guest. When I try to enter my DVC confirmation number on the site, it doesn't recoginze it, even though it does on the DVC site. Hmmmm.... If all else fails, I'll just call, but the online system is so easy! Of course, I think you pretty much have to call for Le Cellier anyway.

If you get a chance, let me know how it went if you use the online system. Have a magical trip!

:wizard:

Maybe you should call and ask? Are you trying to do this before your 180 plus 10 date? If so, that could be the problem, too.

I tried to enter my DVC confirmation today just for the heck of it and got nowhere on the website either. So, I called the dining reservation line to ask and she said my 180 date is October 12th (not the 1st like I thought) and it should work on that date. The website also says that it will be being upgraded on the 14th, so I hope everything goes well on the 12th. All I want is one LeCellier lunch reservation for 4 on one of my 8 days of stay on-site! :thumbsup2

Barb,

Thanks so much for the info! I was kind of hoping that that's why. I'd noticed that when I went to enter it on the dining reservations (when you're prompted to enter your confirmation number to show that you're a Disney resort guest) it wouldn't let you put a date past the one that was 180 days prior to today's date. My only concern was that when I go to the regular "My Reservations" part of the site, it still couldn't find my reservation, even though it did on the DVC site.

My 180 days date is the 8th, so I'll be able to report back to you and tell you how it worked. I've heard that right now, Le Cellier dinner ADRs have to be made by phone...Supposedly because of the switch to two dining credits. They don't want people to book online for dinner and find out when they get there about the increase. You should be fine for lunch, though. I'm trying to get dinner on the 3rd day of our trip, so we'll see....

:rolleyes1

I'm sure someone else will have more authority on this, but your 180 day ADR date would be October 14th, and since you can do 180 +10 if you are a Disney resort guest, 190 days from October 14th is April 22nd.

It works! :thumbsup2 I got all the reservations I wanted (3) this morning using the 180 plus 10 system and it took my DVC reservation number with no problem. Got lunch @ Le Cellier! :cool1: Also got lunch at Crystal Palace and breakfast at Akershus. We'll be using the TIW card.

Just for the heck of it, I tried for Cinderellas Royal Table, even though we do not want to eat here. The system would not let me choose a date more than 180 days out. So,, I chose April 10th (180 days) and it said that the were too busy, try again later. :cool2:

Worked for me, too! I forgot to post here, but the morning of at 6 am exactly, I was able to go online and book all of our ADRs! I also ebded up going for lunch at Le Cellier mostly because we decided to try La Hacienda for dinner for the Illuminations viewing. I wasn't planning for bfast at Akershus, but ended up throwing it in last minute. I'm sure DD2 won't know who anyone is yet, but it'll make for some cute photo ops!

Where do you put your reservation # in? I make my ADRs tomorrow so I've been fooling around with the site and don't see a place to put the reservation # in.

Since the site's been back up, there have been all sorts of problems...ADRs that were already booked not showing up, etc. One problem I noticed is that when I went to make an ADR for th 14th (well within my 180 +10, and something I was able to do before the "site upgrades") I get a message that says they are "unable to process" the request and to call the dining line. Before, if you went to book beyond the 180 day mark, a little yellow-ish box opened up asking for you to confirm that you are a disney guest by entering your resort confirmation number, Last name, and check-in date. It didn't accept it until 6am on your 180 mark, but now I'm not even seeing that option. If it's not resolved by tomorrow, you might need to call in your +10 ADRs.

Good luck and hope things go smoothly for you!

:goodvibes

I woke up at 5:55 am this morning for no reason other than today was my 180 day mark to make my ADRs. Unfortunately it would not work for me so I got up early for nothing. It would not process anything other than 180 days away so I had to call for the + 10 days. Had to wait until 7 am and couldn't even get back to sleep  But on the bright side, I got all of the ADRs that I wanted within 10-15 mins of the time I requested
