OK, I have made numerous ADR's in my time (going back to when they were "P.S.'s"). You'd think I would know this but....
If my resort check in day is 180 days from today, but I don't want to have an ADR for arrival day, can't I still book my ADR's for the week of my trip today? Meaning, can't I book my ADR for 181 days from today if I check in onsite in 180 days, and I have my ADR linked to my reservation?

Yep. That is precisely what 180+10 means :).

With a confirmed resort reservation, you may book up to 10 days of dining reservations starting 180 days before date of check-in. Without a resort reservation, you may only book dining 180 days before date of dining.

THanks, that's exactly how I thought it worked.:goodvibes
However, I have been caught in the cycle of frustration and futility all morning, trying to book my ADR's online.

I sign in with password and reservation number.
I request the meal, going through restaurant, date, time, etc.,
It says my date is more than 180 days in advance so I need a resort reservation number.
Okay, I put my resort reservation number in again.
Now, my dining request is gone and I have to start all over. This goes back and forth a while, and when it finally tells me there is availability and lets me book, I get an error message.:headache:

It's been a year since the last time I did this, but I remember it being so much simpler.

Oh well, I guess I have to call in my ADR's.

I didn't want to call WDW Dining and wait on hold forever only to be told I can't make my ADRs yet. So thanks for confirming that I'm not doing it wrong.
