My 16th is next Thursday! :woohoo: :woohoo:

Here's the catch:

NO PARTY.

I got concert tix for my birthday, and my parents just went to the Bahamas for their anniversary.

This translates to "no Sweet 16 party".

Any suggestions of what I can do with a couple friends?

TIA :)

my 16th birthday i went to the movies with a few friends. it wasn't much of a big deal.

just invite a few best friends over and watch some movies and order pizza. it'll probably be a lot more fun than a party anyway.

my bday is on the 16th day of a month... so I want my 16th bday party on my actual bday (since we wont have school), just thought I'd share that.

Anyways, I think you should have a sleepover with some close friends, anf just hang out...

i know my birthday is in June so it is easy but for my 16th i am planning to have a sleepover about three miles away from where i live in this motel. it is nice but it is like older than surrounding hotels but i like it cause it is nice but has the old charm vibe as well as you can be on the roof, a huge grassy area and pool behind it then beach access along with it being around a bunch of shops and restaurants so that night my mom can just let us wander around town.

There are a lot of good movies out..why not invite friends to the theater, or to your house and rent a bunch of good ones? Then chow down on snack food, watch the movies, hang out..that's much more fun that an actual party anyway! =)

How about a themed sleepover?
For example: Princess Theme (You don't necessarily have to go with this)
Watch princess movies.
Serve finger foods & fancyish foods. (Tea & crumpets. hahaha)
Play boardgames. They're fun & You don't exactly need a theme for it.
Assign a "character" to whoever you invite. Say, one friend is Cinderella. She has to wear something blue?

idk.

That's how mine is, my birthday is October 16th & when I turned 16 I thought it was SO cool. lol

Anyways Meg, I think you should go see a movie & then maybe a sleepover with your closest friends.

Have a all night sleepover party with no sleeping of course. Have a slew of great food, a ton of games like twister and anything with water balloons. Then have a Karaoke contest and dance contest. Then chill out watching movie all night while eating pop corn.

Play Pretty Pretty Princess!!

ETA: For my 16th I went Cosmic Bowling with a few friends, then we got some chinese food and they all slept over.

just get a group of friends together and have everyone bring something to do like food, games, movies, etc. you could even have a theme to your party/sleepover...like a disney theme! lol.

I did absolutely nothing on my birthday.
So I hope you do something.

for mine i want to invite liek 4 of my friends then go to some nice hotel downtown and eat out down there :Dthatd be fun :]]
