THEY WON!!! ​

Her team got a perfect score and didn't miss any words!!! WoooHooo!!! If you read my TR from last October, you might remember that her Spell Bowl team placed 3rd last year. (...after being tied for 2nd - and the decision went to the other team. ) She's worked really hard this year - everyone has - and it's paid off! Here are a few pics from yesterday...

I let everyone else sleep so I could get ready in peace...

I do the same thing. It's the only time I'm up before the rest of my gang.

Before I woke up the next person in line for the bathroom, I decided to get a little DIS time in. Little did I know that I'd be caught in the act! LOL!

I felt guilty DISing while in WDW. I do it so much at home that I thought I better keep it to a minimum while on vacation. Gee...that was HARD to do.

My 1st impression of Lynda was how beautiful she is in person. I even said something like, 'Wow, you smell good!" which kinda freaked her out, I think. I was just being honest! We talked about Disney, DVC, the Peeps, and their upcoming trip to California. Brenna gave them each a DIS friendship bracelet, and then Lynda gave me a Pixie pin.

That's really great you were able to meet more DISers! How sweet of her to give you a pin

Breakfast at Kona! Kinda speaks for itself, ya know?

One thing that we learned at this breakfast - Never try to come between a 15 year old boy and his Tonga Toast! He was too busy eating to have any pictures taken of it! LOL!

After we filled up on another delicious breakfast at Kona Cafe, we decided to go shopping in Downtown Disney!

We're coastal. We had little snow flurries all morning! Luckily they melted quickly. The kids loved it.

We went to Kona for our first time this past trip and I am drooling over the Tonga Toast pics because I could so go for some more RIGHT NOW!!! YUMMMMMY! and YAY for the pressed pots of coffee! I had one for myself LOL!

DH and I LOVE the KONA!!!!! We have 2 Dinner ADRs for our upcoming trip and will probably eat there at least 3 times for breakfast (we like our breakfast). And DH loves the Tonga.

We switched our Crystal Palace ADR to Kona Cafe for breakfast on our last day. I'm going to be there really early for the train tour so I'll be able to see the mythical empty park.

Just back late last night from WDW. The Castle lights are so beautiful, another thing to look forward to in your trip next year. TIPlan many nights in the MK, the lights were on the night of the MVMCP , and the following night too. I just sat and looked at the castle for about an hour after the park closed. It was magical.
I really need to figure out the photo thing,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

I was hoping someone would report here after their trip and tell us about
the castle lights. Sounds like it looks really beautiful! Disney thinks up all
that incredible magic that keeps folks coming back for more! I hope you
can figure out how to post pics, would love to see the castle adorned in
its christmas attire!!

Great update! Wow, could that breakfast look any more delicious?! I absolutely LOVE the Kona Cafe! It seriously can't be beat. I've never tried it for breakfast, but that just may have to change on our next trip. Good stuff.
