Hi!
Even though I'm from the teen board,I wanted to come and post to let you know you are in my prayers.


I'm 14 and right now I'm going through chemotherapy for a bone cancer.
And I wanted to let you know that you are NOT alone.
Cancer is NOT a death sentence anymore.

I'm going to hope and pray it's not cancer because I can tell you first hand,chemotherapy is the absolute worst.

Stay strong and always think positive!

So sorry you're dealing with all this. Of course you'll be in my thoughts and prayers.

My mom is coming to live with us starting Labor Day weekend. She's never been to the dr's and she has a hard time breathing. She's afraid she has lung cancer, because of years of smoking and her brother died 5 years from it. I think it's emphazema (sp?), but I told her we'll first get her to the dr. and take it moment to moment.

Be strong, we'll be here for you always!

I'm very sorry to hear you aren't feeling well. Your post, though, has left me a bit confused. What symptoms could you be having that would even point to these 3 cancers (I have had thyroid cancer and mostly it is symptomless). Also, no blood test they are going to give you is going to diagnose cancer. I guess I'm just confused and concerned.

Can you tell us what is going on with you?

blood tests would measure here white cell count which would be high with cancer, also would show bone marrow cancer, or leukemia.

May I suggest that you start looking at some of the comments, media reports and books by people such as Tony Snow, Laura Ingraham and many others.

I suggest that everyone view this interview with Tony Snow.

May I also suggest that you keep good records of everything that you will be doing in the next few weeks as part of this diagnotic procedure. It may help.
