Happy Friday!
Wow, we do have lots to celebrate! Yesterday I ended up not doing the long walk, just too tired when I got home. So, I'm switching with today, which was going to be a rest day. I rested yesterday, so today it's full speed ahead!
Today's eating -
B: oatmeal & raisins
S: banana
L: haddock & rice
D: baked shrimp, rice pilaf & dinner roll
S: hot tea and 1 chocolate
I'm still doing well with the water. No diet soda for me! This weekend is a danger zone, but I have a plan. DS is having a daytime pajama party Saturday with 3 family friends. We're having pizza, popcorn and candy for the kids, plus ice cream cake for his birthday. I'm getting Greek salad for the grownups, figuring I'll have one piece of cheese pizza with it. We should be in the kitchen w/the kids in the living room watching new dvds, so I think I can avoid the candy. I think it will be pretty cute. I got popcorn cups like you get from the theater at the party supply store, and small six-muffin tins. Each child will get a muffin tin with their own assortment of candy. That way everything will be equal, and they won't be fighting over anything. I'm also putting their initials on the muffin tins.
Sunday is dangerous because we are getting a Nor'easter. For those of you unfamiliar with it, this is a dumping of snow with high winds. We are expecting 9 inches, falling at an inch an hour from late Saturday afternoon into Sunday. This means dh will spend Sunday shovelling, and I will spend it inside, probably feeling a little trapped. I've already planned beef stew for dinner - gotta love that crockpot. I need to think about lunch. I should be fine with raisin bran for breakfast. I definitely want to have a nice walk on the TM, that will help me burn off some energy!
Tara -- Looking forward to a clippie, that will be great! And you can totally do as much walking as you need to. I know you can succeed at whatever you try.
Linda -- You must be so happy right about now. No more rotten, scary people! Here's hoping your next assignment is a joy!

Those pounds are going to drop off, I feel it.
Debra -- Great job getting on the TM!

I was blown away by the end of Lost. Really stunned. And did you recognize the waitress in the restaurant? It was the same woman who did the lottery, etc. These people are all connected in some way...
Jen -- Glad to hear your voice is coming back.

Good luck with the tournament!
Tracy -- TOM really does a number on me, too. Even when I'm weighing consistently, I'm better off skipping that week. It's just too depressing!
Kathy, Karen, KathyT, Dona and Everyone Else -- Let's move it and lose it!
C'ya,
Maria
