14 days at pop, only 10 hopper offered?? ripoff

No we have 10 day hoppers w/water park option.....so I can hop from park to park for 10 days and still go to waterparks the other 4 as long as I do not go to a park that day. We can do some dinner shows, PI or just relax one night.
I think I go it! LOL :thumbsup2

As far as affording it, the entire pkge 14 nights at POP with 10 day hopper w/water parks was
$3447.06....and I have til June of next year to pay if off......thats how we do it!

No you can go to a water park the same day you go to a Major park. I think you have the whole thing confused with non park hopping tickets. With non park hopping tickets you can't go to 2 parks on the same day (meaning you can't go to MK and AK in the same day but that only applies to AK, MGM, MK and Epcot) as far as I know you can go to TL and then BB in the afternoon unless something has changed. Going to a different site to read more info about it.

While you can do this, you would "waste" one of your "plus" days (waterpark days) if you went to a major park in the morning and then used one of your plus days in the afternoon. I think the OP is looking to stretch out her activities over 14 days. Using a plus day's ticket on the same day as a major park would leave her with one less day of activities.

OP-- a great day might consist of a waterpark, mini-golf, boating and ice cream.

.

You get 10 days of parks ,plus 10 days of other options...This would total 20 days total tickets..Since they are good for only 14 days you could overlap water parks with regular parks on 6 of those days.
Personally, i could never spend 10 days of wp's and DQ though

It's not wasting a day since the plus options go by admisions not days and the OP has to use 10 park days and 10 plus admissions over 14 days. They will have to overlap unless they aren't going to use up all their options.

I have never heard of having 10 plus days. It must be a new thing.:confused3 I have only heard of 4 plus days.

 I want ot thank all of you for helping me out with this. The CM I spoke with over the phone didn't explain this to me. It sounds do-able without my 17 and 14 yr old getting board. They just will have to do without a park 4 nights of the 14.(they like the parks at night).
thanks again for all your help! xoxoox:yay:

I think the amount of plus options on tickets increased with the recent price changes. But, with a 10 day ticket it was still more than 4 plus options. I'm not sure how many it used to be though.

I think you'll come to enjoy that down time too. 14 days at disney is a long time for anyone without some good, constructive, mind relaxing, down time.

enjoy!

Well,I admit I may be misunderstanding the amount of plus options as I usually have an AP.. I believe you are allowed 10 days of water parks and 10 days of regular parks..

Right. I was agreeing with you. It's 10 plus option now, it didn't use to be quite that many.

That's a lot of things to do at Disney over 14 days. It certainly sounds fun to me but I don't think I have quite that much energy. I enjoy those lazy days at the resort too.

Have fun, OP.

Hi, just wanted to let you know, that in the UK we are offered 14 and 21 day park hopper tickets as most of us come over for at least 2 weeks. I have just purchased 2 adult and 1 child 14 day tickets for around £550 ($1100). They have the water parks, disneyquest, hopper option etc on them. I don't know if you would be able to buy them in the US, but you could check out www.disneyworld.co.uk to have a look?

OK, I'm a little confused. Are you getting the 10 day hopper with the Waterparks and more? If you are, why do you need 4 more park days? You will have 10 days of waterparks or Disney Quest plus your 10 park days. Why not do the waterparks and/or DisneyQuest on 4 of the days and then 10 days of the parks? The park passes are good for 14 days from date of first use so your entire trip would be covered.

If you are getting the waterparks and more, the premium annual pass would be $616 so that is quite a difference.

I agree.....
Your tickets are good for 14 DAYS after 1st use.....

Save So with the extra days of water parks and more added.....
YOU WILL HAVE AT LEAST 14 DAYS OF TICKETS....

Sorry my above post was mentioned quite a few times....

OP....you mentioned the kids liked the parks at night....

On your non main park days....you could go to dinner at the
poly and watch wishes on the beach....

Or have dinner at an epcot resort and walk around the boardwalk
and watch illuminations on the bridge...

I also think with 14 days....you might need a rest day somewhere.
Have a great trip
Kerri

Also, on a non-park day, you could go to FW and check out the campfire sing-a-long with Chip and Dale. It is free and you can buy supplies to make s'mores right there!

I'm really glad you finally understood it. I know it can be a little bit confusing but once you understand how exactly the tickets work, it makes life a whole lot easier!

Have a great trip!

OH....I see! OK,but the only thing is I can not go to a park after a water park or disney quest. Right? I think I get it now..UMMMM How about going to a dinner at the Poly or Hoop de doo...we can do that right?

Yes do the shows they are great.

I thought that with a 10 day pass with water parks option it was only 6 days allowed for the water parks. Did that change?

Just asking...

If she REALLY wants to get in the park EVERY day/evening, could she do 2 reservations? Do one 10 day and another for 4 days? That way she would have the park hopping for all 14 days.

When we go down for 2-3 weeks we ALWAYS get the Annual Pass. Much, much less and you can go down again.

For 2007 reservations the maximum number of visits on the Water Park Fun and More option was 6. So whether you started with a 7-day base or a 10-day base you still got 6 Fun visits.

For 2008 reservations the number of Water Park Fun and More option visits has been changed to match the number of days you start with on your MYW base ticket (unless you choose a 1 day base in which case you get 2 FUN visits).

For both 2007 and 2008, MYW tickets expire 14 days after first use unless you add the Non-Expiration option.
