Does anyone have experiece using 14 day ultimate tix for longer than 14 days? Am I right thinking its 14 days consecutive? As we are going for 18 days will I have to uprade to a 21 day tix? Or because of the days we go to universal/seaworld/rest, would I still be able to use them?? :confused3 :confused3

Also does the apply to photopass +? Can it be extended once we arrive? Or wil we have to miss out the last few days? :guilty:

Thanks :)

The 14 day tickets you can use for 14 days in a 15 day period. E.g. If you first use them on a Saturday then you could use them 2 weeks later on the Saturday as long as you hadn't already used 14 days.

For 18 nights I would get the 21 day tickets.

There are reports of PP+ being extended on proof of a reservation at Disney resort longer than 14 nights but haven't seen anything official on it - may be worth an email to them as they are one of the few Disney departments that will answer by email so you would have proof to take with you :thumbsup2

As above :thumbsup2

Last month we used our 14 day tickets on the 15th day, having had a day earlier in our trip where we did a halloween party and entered at 4 m on our party tickets (did DTD that day), hence not using one of the 'days' on our tickets.

Regarding PP+ ours was extended without us asking, but if you do ask they will upon proof of length of stay. The rule is only in place to avoid guests sharing PP+ between groups or families over a longer period as I suspect they lose a considerable amount of revenue from the shares.

They will ask for your KTTW card. However if you are only using 14 days worth of park tickets, there is little benefit in extending the validity of photopass as all photos are only taken in the parks. It worked for us as we had a few parties, one of which was on the 16th day where we had no park tickets but still got our party night photos.

As you are going in 2 days I am not sure how you will go on about upgrading the 14 day tix to 21. The US system is not great with UK tickets. Its something that would have been better doing when you purchased, it would have only been about £30pp more.
If you do try do it please post back how easy it was and the cost.

in august, we tried to use our 14 day tickets on day 15, however we were denied entry-dh was politely informed he "had expired". :rotfl2:

Did you use it for the full 14 days then try use it on the 15th?
In all the posts I have seen on this subject you are the first I have ever read having problems on the 15th day.

you know what they say, there's always one!
i was unsure if we would gain entry at dhs-so dh was the only one who attempted to use kttw, whilst we awaited the outcome.
:rolleyes1

:rotfl2: Sneaky!

I know you can't get 15 days worth of park access out of them - they 'condition' is that you only use 13 days during the first 2 weeks and then use your 14th day's entry on day 15.

Your poor DH :rotfl:

I've called them this morning, but they cant do anything, we can only buy extra tickets when we get there, by the day, or 3 days....either $95pp or $187pp for 3 days :headache::headache::headache:

I cant belive I forgot somthing so important, i'm kicking myself now

you live and learn! :)

i wish we had bought 21 day tickets for our previous trip also...
but in the scheme of things, you still have lots of other good stuff-have a great time and don't be too hard on yourself :yay::yay:

I nearly bought the 21 day tix for our recent 18 night trip but decided not to and there was no need. In fact, it was good for once NOT to have extra park days at the end so that we were forced to spend some time at our resort - something we never really do much of. Try get some universal days in at the beginning/end before you start your Disney tickets or after they end. You can still do MK as yoru first park but it doesn't have to be the day after you arrive.

Quite honestly, although I hear you about best parks (I follow TP and also use them) at this time of the year you are not going to have much of an issue. If you were there August, Easter or Xmas, yes, but you can survive it just fine now

Thank u ladies, tbh I sat at the desk & cried after I put the phone down, just with adding my dad in after mum passing so suddenly, & that was only after we decided to go, I came very close to not going at all, so I was just thinking that part was done......so I'll have a look on the flight tomorrow, see how I can move the days around....& fit the adr's in too!

On the plus side i've just about finished packing......:rolleyes1
