.................

whoa! Now that's really listening to your intuition! Obviously, you wouldn't be comfortable going now. Hang in there!

My counselor told me something along the same thing. She said that we have started to train ourselves to NOT listen to our guts. We can usually never go wrong with our natural instint.

Hope Disney is great for you!

C.Ann we all know you are a very wise woman and it sounds to me like you are making the right decision. There is always a reason when we feel that strongly about something.

C.Ann, I totally agree with your decision. When your instincts are yelling at you, I think it's wise to listen. :)

C.Ann, I am glad you are listening to your inner self. :)

I was supposed to go to WDW 2 weeks ago (had flight ressies etc.) and my dad was so much worse. He kept telling my sister and I to go on with our plans (she was going out of town also) but we both decided to stay home. I was afraid he might die while I was gone but, not only that, I felt a strong urge to be here with my mom. Well, lo and behold, dad is still hanging on to life but my's 2 yo beloved cat up and died (no sickness, just fell over dead like a heart attack or something). She was so distraught. Part heartbreak for losing the cat whom she loved and needed to help her through this hard time and part because of the sadness she is feeling about losing my dad to this cancer.
My sister and I were so glad we had decided to listen to that inner voice and stay home.
You may or may not learn your reason.
Take care!!

Sounds like you have a very wise counselor.. ;)

The night before my first disney trip with my son, I felt very nervous. Just like you said, something wasn't right. I departed the next morning right on schedule. The next night, I got a call from one of my husband's friends that my husband and baby girl (they were at home) were in a car accident. They weren't badly hurt, thanks to God, but I have always remembered that and feel that you should always go with your gut.

I'm so sorry to hear about your kitty and your dad's illness.. :(

An inner voice is a powerful thing - not something to be brushed off lightly..
