1200 pics, 1100 miles, 15 deluxe dining meals, 1 great time at POR *Completed 9/5*

Yowzers!! 4 app credits?! That's a little much, I could see why you would be upset. I mean maybe for 2 as the dish is for two people. As long as you enjoyed it though! I'm starting to think I really need to try this bread pudding!!:goodvibes

We were at MK on the 30th and it was crowded there as well, which made me second guess myself. From your report, it likes it may have been crowded everywhere that day. I decided we still had lots of Memorial Day vacationers in the park.

I originally had planned Raglan Road for our mother/daughter trip because I thought dd would love the dancing! I had her look at a menu prior to the trip and she didn't think she would like it. Looking at your food and reading your report, I am sure she would not have enjoyed it, except for the desserts. Haha! I'll have to try it if I ever go on an adults only trip!

Excellent report! Can't wait to read the next installment!

Yeah I thought that was a bit much, but if I had known at that time we would not have any further issues with the dining plan like that I probably wouldn't have even worried about it that much. And you DEFINITELY need to try this bread pudding! I kid you not....it's one of my favorite things to eat in ALL of Disney World!

Yeah I think you are right about still having the Memorial Day crowds there on that day. We expected it to be crowded but I think it was even a little more than what we were expecting.

Raglan Road has a pretty wide variety on their menu. I usually get the ol' classic Fish & Chips. You can't go wrong there! But for absolute SURE this place has the best desserts ever!

Glad to have you join us on this trip report! Welcome! :wave2:

Lots of great updates!! POR looks really pretty! I am glad you were able to take the boat to DTD. 4 app credits-that is insane. I agree with your DW and DD on the Shepherd's Pie. The one I had at Olivia's was much better. The girls had fun dancing with the ladies but did not eat much at all.

It's a monthly bandwidth issue - link too many photos in a short space of time, and then get a lot of people viewing them, and Photobucket wants you to pay for their Pro account.

Andre

I think I got the problem fixed with photobucket. Let me know if you still have trouble seeing the pictures. Thanks!

Hi Mary! :wave2: I know right? 4 app credits for 1 app. Ummm, never again. We've never eaten at Olivia's but it is tops on my "must do next" list. We made an ADR early on for Olivia's but later changed it.

Oh no something happened I cant see your photo's

Thanks for letting me know! I got it fixed!

I can't see them either. I thought maybe it was just my computer. Glad that is not the case. Can't wait to see them!

They should be back now, no problem!

Yep, that's exactly what happened! I went ahead and paid the $4.99 to upgrade so that this trip report could continue uninterrupted. Thanks Andre!

I See them...

I can see them now :thumbsup2

Thanks y'all! Shouldn't be a problem now!

Subscribing, and enjoying what I've been reading here.

Hi DaisyDuck001! :wave2: Welcome to my trip report! Glad to have you here! New update coming up!

After riding Test Track shortly after rope drop on Saturday, May 31, we thought we might get back in line and ride it again. Ummmm....no. By the time we got off the ride, the standby time posted was 50 minutes but the line outside indicated that it might be even longer than that. We decided to proceed to Mission Space instead...

We all decided to do the ORANGE one this time! DD had previously done this attraction via the GREEN (less intense) option, but this would be her first time doing the ORANGE option!

Of course, we had Gary Sinese to guide us through our mission....which thrilled DW! :)

All of us enjoyed the ride and DD liked the ORANGE (more intense) experience!

Next, we decided to go through Innovations and ride Sum of all Thrills. This attraction was not here on our last trip in 2009, so we were pretty excited to have the experience! It was just before 10am and the wait time was about 15 minutes.

DS and I paired up and created a pretty intense roller coaster for our experience! It was awesome!

DW and DD were a little timid with their first design. They rode it and were disappointed that they didn't design a more intense ride...so they decided to ride again! This time they would design a more intense experience!

After Sum of All Thrills, we still had plenty of time before our FP+ at Soarin' at 11:25am. We made our way over to the other side of the park and the wait time for The Seas with Nemo and Friends was 10 minutes, so we decided to ride it. We didn't really love it the first time we rode back in 2008 and we felt the same way after riding it this time. However, Turtle Talk with Crush is a blast!

After that we headed over to ride Living With The Land before our FP+ for Soarin'.

We got to Living With The Land and the wait time was 20 minutes! Ummm...no. Most of the times we've been here before there was no wait at all for this attraction. We decided instead to go to Sunshine Seasons and use one of our snack credits!

I got the Apple Caramel Crunch as my snack credit. We sat down at a table and all four of us ate this delicious snack!

We just waited as our 11:25am time approached for our FP+ for Soarin':

Finally, it was time for Soarin'! Bring on David Warburton's pre-ride instructions!

Nice work pal!

Ahhhhhh....I still LOVE this attraction! Especially at the end when we are magically a part of the fireworks over Disneyland! I'm looking forward to the rumored changes for Soarin'. It's still my favorite attraction at Epcot although everyone else in my family would say Test Track is their favorite.

Coming up next: A walk through the World Showcase and lunch at Tutto Italia! Stay tuned!

Awwww, thanks very much for the kind words! Good move on stealing away to get checked in at Yacht Club...and Kona is a great pick for lunch! Are you on the dining plan or out of pocket? Either way Kona is awesome.

We will be out of pocket, but the lunch prices look reasonable to me.:thumbsup2

I am always up first, so I love the idea of taking off instead of waiting for everyone to get up and get ready. this way I am not bugging everyone, and we save time and can get going even earlier than expected. thanks again for the idea :)

So glad to read your experience for the Sum of all Thrills. I did not know this existed until recently and I think my DH will love it. I was hoping that it won't be a super long wait.

Really enjoying your TR!

I was a couple of updates behind. What the heck was up at Raglan Road. I've never heard of having to use four credits for just one appetizer. At least the bread pudding semi-made you forget about the appetizer fiasco.

Wow! You guys are knocking it out at Epcot! We noticed that Living with the Land had longer wait times than it did on previous trips.

If you are out of pocket, in my opinion, Kona Cafe for lunch is one of the best values on property! It's a must do for us!

Yeah I hope that idea works as well for your family as it did for us. Hope you all have a wonderful trip!

Yeah the Sum of all Thrills was actually pretty cool. DS and I designed a high intensity rollercoaster with several loops and barrel rolls. The simulator was really fun! Feet dangling and flying all over the place! But this attraction gets long lines later in the day so I'd suggest doing it before 11am.

Soarin is my favorite ride in the whole Disney World

It's my favorite ride at Epcot, but I'd have to go with RnRC as my absolute favorite. I'm a thrill junkie! But Soarin' is so awesome....and so Disney!

Our's is Toy Story Mania, I have a process for it.

Oooh, a process? Do tell!

THANK YOU! I just knew a fellow foodie would chime in on the use of four credits for one appetizer! And yes the appetizer was good, but we had others that were better only using one credit. But other than that the food was really good...and OMG that bread pudding...I dream about it! :)

It was now about 11:45am on Saturday, May 31 and we had a lunch reservation at Tutto Italia in the Italy pavilion at 12:45. Before leaving Future World we had a quick stop by one of our favorite places in Epcot!

DS has discovered if you mix the Beverly with another soda it's actually not that bad! LOL!

After that we made our way into the World Showcase.

Hey look! That woman in the yellow t-shirt is pointing at me! :rotfl2:

I have still never actually eaten at Rose and Crown, but I intend to at some point. I have had a few pints there!

We've never eaten at Les Chefs de France either, but DW and I are thinking a couples only trip might be in order....perhaps next year.

We made our way through the Morocco pavilion and if we weren't trying to get to our reservation I would've spent a bit more time here. I didn't get a picture of that pavilion however.

Next was Japan...

And finally we were in Italy!

We had originally scheduled an ADR for Via Napoli but after we decided to do the Deluxe Dining Plan, we switched to Tutto Italia. We had dinner here five years ago and loved it! It's very expensive out of pocket, but I think it is a good value for 1TS credit.

Coming up next: our lunch at Tutto Italia!
