1200 pics, 1100 miles, 15 deluxe dining meals, 1 great time at POR *Completed 9/5*

No more watermelon?? That was my favorite too!

Yeah they have one called "Beverley" and it is horrible. But there is a dare to anyone out there to see how many you can drink the whole cup full in one shot. Anyone who wants to accept PM me sometime.

Club Cool is one of our favorite stops too !

You can't beat sampling free sodas on a hot day at Epcot! We make a point to stop by there every time we are there.

They took away my favorite, China Cola, I think it was watermelon flavored.

Yeah we were disappointed that they took away one of our favs from past trips. It was called Mezzo Mix, I think. And it was from Germany?

No more watermelon?? That was my favorite too!

They had a couple that weren't there before.

You are an updating machine! I just finished my 2nd update, now I have to go catch up on yours!!

I have a ton of POR photos up next as well!

It was Saturday, May 31 and we arrived at Tutto Italia at 12:30 for our 12:45 reservation. We were seated immediately. For this time of day there weren't a lot of people in the restaurant, but it got much busier by the time we left.

Our server's name was Rita and she was absolutely fantastic. She was sweet and moved diligently. She brought us our drinks, bread, olives, and oil.

One of the main reasons we chose Tutto Italia on this trip was because of the fantastic Grand Antipasto Misto platter. DW and I split this. And this was absolutely worth the entire meal! In fact, if we were paying out of pocket, DW and I could just share this as our meal.

It did not disappoint! SO good!

DS and DD both got the calamari:

Best calamari ever! It's just soooo much food...neither of them were able to finish it.

For our entrees, I ordered the Lasagne Alla Bolognese:

Very very good! And a large portion! I couldn't eat it all after eating that Grand Antipasto Misto platter.

DW had the ravioli:

She loved it! Rich and creamy. Yum!

DS ordered the Spaghetti and Meatballs:

He said it was really good. He ate all of the meatballs but didn't want to fill up on the pasta.

DD ordered the Caprese Panini:

She did not like it at all. We thought it would be more of a pressed bread like other paninis we've had. I tried a bite and it was just okay.

For dessert, DW ordered the Tiramisu:

It was excellent! A nice coffee taste and very rich. I did not order a dessert because I was very full, but I had a couple of bites of hers.

DD ordered the Torta di Nicciole:

It had Nutella in it, so naturally she loved it!

DS ordered the Torta di Ricotta Cheesecake:

This was took the cake in my opinion! Best dessert on the table! He made me take a bite and it was absolutely delicious! If I were going to order a dessert at Tutto Italia, I would definitely choose this one.

Overall, Tutto Italia was a great experience. If we were paying out of pocket it would be really high priced. But if you are on the Deluxe Dining Plan I think it is a great use of 1TS. Food and service = A :thumbsup2

I started a "must do" list for out next trip (only our second in May 2015) and bread pudding at raglan just made the list

I am loving your trip report! POR is our favorite resort and I am looking forward to our Christmas trip there! Wonderful pictures and input, can't wait for updates.

Oh gosh, everything at Tutto Italia looks absolutely mouthwatering. I always worry about going to Italian restaurants, because my grandmother was off the boat Italian, and of course made the best, traditional meals. SO I have been spoiled. However, that antipasto plate looks magnificent, and since you gave everything such rave reviews I may have to put this on our list of restaurants to try!!

You're back!! :cheer2: I am not on the DIS very much lately but just happened to come across a post of yours and saw a new TR. How nice to see an old friend! Your family looks as happy & beautiful as ever.

Can't wait to follow along and hear more about your adventures. Especially those of the eating variety. Deluxe dining!!!!

The pasta that you ordered looked similar to the pasta that John ordered at Via Napoli and he said that it was delicious. The panini wasn't pressed? That's unusual. I thought that all panini sandwiches were. :confused3 I haven't met a cheesecake that I didn't like and the picture of the one that your wife ordered is making my mouth water.

Oh that Torta di Ricotta Cheesecake does look good ! Wish I could have one right now :rotfl:

Hi Alan! Sorry I'm late to your TR!

Of course the majority of my comments are about the food! I had to look back at your travel dates for your Kona Café meal. When I was there earlier in May they had just changed the menu and changed up the steak and got rid of the teriyaki version of the steak and made it a molasses bacon something or another AND got rid of the sticky rice. Boo! But looking at your meal it looks like my outrage may have changed that back?? :confused3

I love Sum of all Thrills. I want as many loops and corkscrews that they can put in there.

Ok, one more food comment, that Ger's bread pudding at RR is ahhhh-mazing. Truly.

Finally getting caught up! That is crazy what went on at RR! I've never heard such a thing. At least you had the bread pudding to make up for it. That stuff should be illegal... It's definitely my favorite dessert on property!

We've never tried Tutto Italia. DH isn't a huge italian cuisine type person, so we haven't really had the desire to go, but that cheesecake sounds phenomenal! Eventually we'll make it there!

Can't wait to hear more!
