12 Night China May 15, 2011

The hotel laundry seemed expensive - except maybe HOMA - so we did lots of sink washing. Most places you are there more than one night, so things dried - mostly.
On the hutong day in Beijing you can buy a Chinese yo-yo which is fun - lots of those on our trip!

Thank you for your information. Since HOMA is just about 6 days into our trip, I will plan to do laundry there so that we can keep our luggage to reasonable size.

I plan to bring a travel size of Febreeze for the unsoiled scented items instead of full laundry!!:rolleyes1

Mike and Melissa are on Day Three of their China trip and loving it. They really keep them busy. Many of the people in their group are also DVC members.

We ran into some Mongolian warriors at the great wall. Mike & Melissa said to tell you to send ransome money!

We just arrived in Shanghai. We have been hanging out with Mike and Melissa - and are all having a great time. Melissa is a great kid - she was singing Disney tunes last night with one of the guides - she has a lovely voice.

Thanks for letting me know. Worry wart that I am I was worried when I couldn't get through to them ... didn't know their cell ran out of minutes. They are having a great time and I know part of the reason are because of all the great people they are traveling with. Love it when I hear Melissa sing...thanks for the kind words. The hotel you are staying at now sounds amazing!

We are in the airport on our way home and I wanted to report that this was the most amazing trip ever. The adventurers in our group were really nice people and the guides - Jason Palmer and Fred He were FABULOUS!!!!:banana:

Liza...hope you are home safe and sound! Mike and Melissa had an amazing trip and besides the amazing guides people like you made their trip special. Unfortunately, she doesn't want to take Biology this fall cuz she wants to work for Disney.....lol.

Kathy

PS I was so confused when she would talk about Fred...didn't realize there were two of them!
