On the Disney website they only have tickets up to 10 days. I will be there for 12. Do I need to get a 10 day and a 2 day or can you get a MYW 12 day pass?
Currently you need a ten (preferably expiring) together with a two (or non-expiring longer MYW pass or remains of old passes).
If you can arrange your schedule so that on two of the 12 days you go only to water parks and/or Disney Quest, just one 10 day pass with plus pack will cover it all.
From time to time other sources offer longer passes, for example 14 or 20 days. These are promotional passes, not standard, and may not have more days or features added that they don't already have such as water parks. These may expire even if never used.
We are considering it. I already have the AP but no one else in my family does. If we don't enter the parks for 2 days then its a close call as to whether we get the AP for my husband or not, and then I need to decide about the 2 kids. Overall going with 10 day passes for everyone but me works out the cheapest.
If we decide to go into the parks for all 12 days then I think it ends up being cheaper for the AP because we get a discount for being DVC members.
But we don't usually go every year so its a toss up. Thankfully I got some time to think this out!
I'm from the UK and there are often "UK exclusive" tickets that run for 14 or 21 days only, then expire. We purchased ours last year from an agent in the USA, they were even priced in US$. Their website address is: www.undercovertourist.com.
