Just a reminder that you can view, order or download photos from our photo sharing site located at http://thepiratezone.smugmug.com

We purchased access to the picture site for one year, so at the end of July it will go away. There are many, many wonderful photos (over 12,000 of them) and I encourage you to take advantage while its there.

Viewing Tutorial

When you go to the photo page, you will see this:

If you scroll down, you will see the photo galleries

Click on one of the galleries and you will see a page similar to this:

To flip through the pages, use the controls for next/prev:

When you find an image you want, click on it:

This will open the image in the larger window

When you put your mouse over this larger image, a menu will appear

Select the size image you would like and click, opening the image by itself (here large selected)

You can then "right click" and select "save image as" (or similar depending on your browser)

This will save the image to your computer.

You can also select "buy: photo" to have the image printed and sent to you. Their prices are reasonable and quality is excellent

Ahoy Crew!

You know it just occurred to me that I've got this dummy reservation for a cruise out there that I've never done anything with. When do I need to change it? Can it wait until the 2011 dates come out - or do I have to change it now? I'd rather wait since, nothing in 2010 is both affordable and interesting.

I don't know about you guys, but this last year just flew by. How can it be summer again?

Of course, moving into the new place and getting 3-4 years of deferred maintenance on the land done has kept us pretty busy. It's hard to believe we've been here 5 months already. And there are still boxes everywhere. I'm living my very own Treasure Hunt. Everyday's a Pirate day.

Hey - we've got Llamas now - they do a decent job eating down the front two pastures. Talk about easy to keep.

Anyway, can someone clue me in?

So nice to hear from you! We've been in our house 17 months and I still have boxes. And heck if I know where some of my stuff is located! LOL!

We had seriously considered getting a good sized piece of land...but, Jon didn't like the idea of us being isolated in case we have an emergency. So, we now live about 1/2 mile from a fire station & a hospital...the police station is about a mile and a half away.

When I moved ours to March 2010, we didn't have to pay any additional deposit. Maybe it's changed? Doesn't hurt to call and ask.

Alot of pirates have moved to a Facebook group. I haven't taken the plunge there either - not enough time in my day to added that too. Dis still takes up some of my time. Would be nice to know how everyone was doing though.

Wendy, what do you want to know? We still have chat on Friday nights. ANd I can sometimes keep up with the conversation.

Llamas huh? I just moved my ressie to next year. CAn't remember the date tho.Not sure I will doing anymore cruises. Will have to see. Facebook is not as timeconsuming as the dis. Come on over!!!

Ooo. Ooo. I know this one. You have to pay the full deposit. That's why we haven't move it - money is SUPER tight right now.


What's all this about Facebook? Everyone's moving there? I've been avoiding it like the plauge. Just one more thing to do...
