We are coming too!!!!

We just got off the Fantasy (Eastern Carrib) - and booked this new years cruise. I think the TA was a bit confused because it's a Sun-Sun cruise instead of the normal Sat-Sat.

We had a creative group on the Fantasy - with a facebook group and many DIS people that were super organized for FE lists etc. That was our 2nd cruise on the Fantasy, and the first time we did FE's.
While we were on board we booked this NYE cruise plus joined DVC!!

We are going with 2A and 3C (11,8,6). Deck 8 - 4A cabin.

So excited already and we've only been home a week!!

Since it's a Sunday cruise we will likely be at WDW on Saturday 12/27.
I wish the Christmas party was still going on then! Bummer!

We are booked for this cruise (DH & me only so far)...the Disney Magic is actually our favorite of the DCL ships! We just did the 2-day when it came out of refurb and were basically happy although have heard some other reports that were not so positive. We love cruising for NYEve We did this ship for NYEve 2012

I am not even sure where we are heading, and do not care. We have done lots in the Caribbean so tend to not even get off of the ship (except for Castaway Cay!). We did once do the boat tour excursioin around the island there, and would not do so again as it was really just another boat ride.

Although I have done many DCL cruises, I have never participated in the FE...maybe will try it out this time since I have so much time to plan

Looking forward to the planning and excitement of this when it gets closer (doing "another" cruise line for NYEve this year, then a DVC member cruise in 8/14 so this one is waaaay off to me!).

So I just got back from a cruise on a bargain cruise line. It was very nice... we had a suite...
It made me REALLY appreciate Disney.

As we were going through all the craziness this past week, I stopped and asked my husband Tuesday morning (Christmas Eve), What are we going to be like next year when we're adding a cruise (& packing and finishing all those FE gifts, etc) onto all this??lol And I told my kids not to expect much under the tree next year since we will be leaving either that night or the next morning for Disney World before the cruise!! It makes it seem like it really might be happening!! Can't wait 'til it's our turn!!

Got an email from "The King" (my dad) yesterday morning saying Mickey had called and invited all of us on this cruise! If we get 100% participation -- and early results suggests this to be the case -- our swarm of 19 will be on the Magic after Christmas!

• The King and Queen (grandparents/patrons/totes magotes of awesomeness)
• Prince one and DW
• Their kids DS (will be nearly 9), DS (7), DD (7)
• Prince two (me) and my DW
• Our DS (7 3/4)
• Princess one and her DH
• Their DD (13 1/2) and DS (9)
• Princess Two (tripsmom on the board) and her DH
• Their triplets DD, DS and DS (8 3/4)

This will be the third Disney cruise for most of us - we've been on the Wonder twice before (Carribean 3-day New Year's 2009/10 and Alaska 7-day in June 2012). Super excited!

The worst part is that The King wants to keep it a secret from the kiddies until Christmas. Not sure which of us parents will be the first to crack and spill the beans. I have to renew DS's passport but we're getting that done next week.

Time to start investigating excursions, as well as travel to Port Canaveral! Our family will be coming either from Chicago or Mid-Missouri (everybody else probably will drive from Georgia), so a flight will definitely be in order. The last time we sailed from Port Canaveral we stayed a night in the airport Hilton then got a town car to take us to the port. Cheaper and more convenient than the shuttle bus at the time.

Hello, We are super super new to this whole kind of experience. I was at DisneyWorld 20 years ago and on a cruise (non Disney) 17 years ago.. Husband has never cruised. We will have our 2 daughters with us; then- 5.5 and 2.5. We know for sure the oldest is about as into princesses as possible. We are hoping for the most fantastic experience ever. Just booked this cruise. Just me and DH Stevie going. Leaving DD at home as she can't get leave from her job and staying home with boyfriend for New Years.

We've done Christmas cruises before, but thus will be our first New a Year cruise, can't wait !!

I read there's a special MDR menu for New Year's Eve and Pirate a Night is New Year' Day. Will we get fireworks at midnight on NYE too?

The 12/30 cruise was moved to the Wonder and the Wonder 12/28 cruise was moved to the magic.
The wonder trip got a new thread but the Magic got bubkiss as far as I can tell.
Maybe I really do have the ship all to myself...

Hi Martinm, I can tell you now that as of last week groups of 4 or more will be split up into smaller cabins. I had a group of 5 and now must have 2 cabins. I suspect a you may have to wait a little for your drinks now. Although were all water drinkers except DH.

Has anyone created a special logo for our cruise? If not, perhaps one with the baby Mickey sitting in the arms of an elder Mickey? Or the Magic in the moonlight with fireworks in the background? I'd like to make some FEs with the logo.
