Funny Courtney. Only thing positive about the upgrade, is the free food offerings. Breakfast foods in the morning, snacks in the afternoon, and yummy appys for dinner...free soda,juice,bottled water and some free adult drinks too. On the down side, we may be in the maids quarters of the Ivory tower. Our ressie was for a lagoon view,and we have no idea what the club level view will be. could be pool, garden or lagoon,or parking lot view I asked my DU agent, but she hasn't responded yet,and probably doesn't know.

So you are going to book Oasis? I wish you were doing the Inagural with us next year. I promise I will fill you in on all the details.
Now, about that pie....you deliver? We will be in Irving the 26th of Nov I think Pecan sounds just yummy

Believe it or not, the Oasis prices for the Inagural have actually doubled,and in some cases tripled since we booked it.

I've looked at it and no doubt it is a great way to fundraise. I have passed the info on to our fundraiser chairman for our Scout Troop as well. I even looked to see if there was one for the Holiday Inn when we drive to FL in December. The only catch I see so far is having the right documentation that it is a non-profit organization and DD get the profits from it. The trip is done through a NPO but it's a national company and I don't know how it would work out. I can't just go online myself and order them.

Sorry to hear about that. I was looking forward to seeing what kind of concoction you came up with. I'd offer to take it up but my plate is full too. I pretty much have my FE gifts done. Just got more full with DD's Venturing Crew. I'm feeling for my Northern Buddy. Wanna have a drink over the cyberwaves later??

I'm just worried about being packed by the time we leave. And to get rid of some of this steroid bloat.....Maybe Andy has some good ideas. I'm sure you know what I'm talking about.

Yes, they do have pin trading onboard...or they did in 2000. I would imagine they would still have it.

Seems our busy lives have caught up with all of us. I seem to always be running these days. It will get better once football and birthdays are over. I'll still have swim, and Lindz is trying her hardest to talk me into holding office. Which means if they don't find anyone else, I will do it.

our oldest daughter was involved in an accident Monday. She and her passenger are ok, but she is having some back and knee pain. Dr said she has muscle sprain and internal brusing. She is going back to work tomorrow thank goodness. She just moved into a new rental property.

I never bash truckers as my DH has been one his entire adult life. but this idiot made an illegal right turn from the left lane on a busy major city road. We are waiting on the offical word, but it looks like her car will be totaled. By the time insurance pays the car off, she won't have enough to buy another car. This one was purchased with 0% interest for 60 months. Not gonna find those rates these days. Anyway, I know this is completely off topic, but just wanted to let those of you who have gotten to know my family through the boards(And Adrianna actually met Val in person) know what happened. And maybe vent just a little.

I got the confirmation email from our agent tonight. It's offical, we have a club level/lagoon view at the Poly She also put in a request for 3rd floor room so we would have a balcony. I just have to remember to remind the CM at check in. She said sometimes when DCL uploads the info to the resorts, the requests get lost. Think I'd be fix'n that DCL

Our kids are a little older (11 and 16) but they sing Rock Band all the time. (That's us btw)

I hope there is pin trading!!! I've read there is and we're bringing ours.

Brenda, sorry to hear about your daughter and passenger. I hope everyone ends up being alright. The good news is that she is still here. Even if it's without a car. Totalled my car 4 months after having it and couldn't buy a new one either. Course that was 15 years ago. And I had a baby to transport. Made life interesting. But I'm alive and walking. Sometimes stumbling.
