Okay, UPS just drove up to my house, stopped...sat there for at least 3-4 minutes...and then drove away!!!! My heart stopped thinking our docs were here, too!

This is going to be our first Disney cruise ... our triplets (BBG) will be 17 months when we sail. We cruised alot before the kids, but this is our first cruise with the babies. Would love to meet up with other families traveling with very little ones!

There is one other family in our group sailing with a small DD, I think she is 18 months...

You will love a Disney cruise. Our family went on our first one in April. DH and I had been on a few cruises many years ago but this was our first experience cruising in about 10 years and our DD's first cruise. Obviously, we loved it because here we go again! LOL...

Have you ever cruised at Christmas before? We have always been home at Christmas, so this is a first for us.

Leslie, I think I am going to put up our tree this weekend. Didn't you say you put yours up last week? For some reason it just doesn't feel like Christmas is only a little over a month away. The weather here has been so screwy it surely doesn't feel like holiday weather. I guess it won't feel like traditional holiday weather on Castaway Cay either, huh?! Ha ha.

Leslie, I think I am going to put up our tree this weekend. Didn't you say you put yours up last week? For some reason it just doesn't feel like Christmas is only a little over a month away. Yep, we did the tree last weekend! I bought a really cute magnetic Mickey Mouse chalk board that has Santa Mickey and says "days 'til Christmas" under the chalkboard part. Its on the fridge and the kids are using it to countdown the days until Christmas. They don't know about the cruise, so its fun to see them counting down with Mickey having no idea that we're really going to spend Christmas with Mickey. Yesterday, my 6-year-old asked if we'd have snow on Christmas day. Since we live in NC, I started to say "I doubt it." But last Thanksgiving, they had "snow" at Castaway Cay, so I simply answered "you never know." I wanted to tell her so badly!

I've got to stop talking about the cruise- everyone thinks I am obessed, but i, I am staying up till 2 am a lot working, and dreams of the cruise keeping me going! The prize.

I ordered a little Mickey Santa tree for our cabin from the Disney store online.
It comes in a mailing tube, so its easy to pack, it was 29.99.
Those of you with your packets, there were some Christmas trees centerpieces for for $85 and $105, that looked nicer, bt I am happy with this one. The price is better.
I got it earlier this week- its only about 12" high and the pedestal bottom (micky santa boots) take up about 4 ", so the tree portion is only about 8" -but it is cute anyway.
I had to have a tree for our cabin! So, maybe I can fluff it and it will look better!
I am going to bring a string of 25 lights and make some Christmas ornament magnets for inside of our door. I'm going to ship the stuff ahead of time along with my FE gifts.
Anyone have other ideas?
I'm getting really excited, I just wish I had more time to prepare.

Hi guys! I didn't mean to go MIA, but things have been hectic this week! Flower sale for my dd's choir and than I got roped into helping with middle school choir pictures this morning!

Since the cut off for participation in the FE exchange was yesterday, I will try to post the final list by tonight. Thank you to all who provided your cabin #'s.

Tomorrow is our towns Christmas parade. DD's choir sings before the parade and than she and some of the others get to make a mad dash down the parade line to the middle school band! They are saying we should have good weather tomorrow and temps in the 50's.

oh no!!!

just got back from a playdate with dd and opened my docs...they only sent mine and dd's, not dh's and step-dd's....dcl has an alternate address in their system for dh and step-dd, how it got there i have no idea....

supposedly, we will be getting our remaining docs on monday now...the dcl rep called ups and they are going to re-route.

We've done a couple of Christmas cruises. Cruising is fantastic to begin with and during a holiday it's even better. We always try to bring a little gift for the same people we would tip since they don't get to be with their family at Christmas. We generally will decorate the door, then string up some lights and garland around the room. The ships we've sailed at Christmas generally have lots of decorations and a Santa type event for the kids.

Our docs came today as well ... same problem as you ... my mother's docs got sent to an alternate address. Oh well ... they'll be here in a few days.

So, no docs out in California yet.

Worked Friday and Saturday on my second FE project. Man, I got stuff done. By the end of today, I will have 12 of the 17 done! Oh Yea. I hope you guys like everything. My goal is to have all the FE's done by the end of the month, and this week (Thanksgiving) of course I will have no production time.

I assume we are firm on our lists now? We just had Proud2BMomOf3 join us. ** Welcome by the way **. I wasn't sure if they would be joining the FE as well.
