We got our docs yesterday (in California).

Glad to hear! I called and they said we should we receive ours by Friday. I also have a tracking #. We live in the San Diego area so if you got yours there is hope we may get ours today..... Although that means the pressure is on to get crackin and finish getting those gifts packed.

The pressure is on, yes! OMGosh.. I was hoping this would be a productive week for crafting; I saw 4.5 days!! Nope. We are taking some furniture to my parents and when we get back we have a T-giving party to join (family in the Costa Mesa area). Then, I have to reorg my house because of the missing furniture. (Where will I put all that stuff I pulled out of the cabinets and drawers. These houses just dont have enough storage spots). Thankfully, I think I am still well underway. But, shopping.. isn't that Chirstmas thing right around the corner too.. aaahhhhh

Wow. I made a post on the disboards and got notification of a new post here. First one I've seen in probably a month. Now I see I've been missing a lot.

We got our cruise docs, but for us it is no big deal...other than it signifies the cruise is almost here. We do online checkin and print the forms from that and we don't have transfers. So other than the luggage tags there's nothing in there we need, and even those you can just get at the port from the porters if you need to.

Not sure if my wife has posted on here, but the cruise is a surprise for our daughter (7 years old). We're spending a week at Disney first. We will be picking up my parents from the airport Friday night and they will stay with us that night, then we will head to the port Saturday. What's funny is my daughter has decided, all on her own, that we should do a "cruise staycation" that week and pretend we are on a cruise. She even decided she wanted Xmas day to be Castaway Cay!

It's been a lot of fun because we can now plan for the cruise and all the while she thinks it will just be pretend. We even got recent menus out and she started planning the meals for that week. I can't wait to see her face when we arrive at the port!

Packing is starting to worry me. I got out shorts and t-shirts for the Caribbean portion but not knowing how the weather will be the week before in Florida and in the Bahamas I can't do anything else. We're also going to be tight on space since we will have two families in one car driving to the port. Thank goodness for space bags!

Well, hope everyone has a great Turkey Day. Don't eat too much...gotta save room for the cruise

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

We just saw Miley Cyrus last night in concert...some parts I loved...some parts not so much...

First off, and most important, is that DD had a great time. And going was really all about her! It was her first concert experience and she was very excited to be able to do that. We met friends of hers and their families for dinner before the show, and that added to the fun.

I personally didn't care for Metro Station that much...their music was okay but really really loud...I just didn't like their image for my 7 year old daughter...but thankfully she is too young to really notice and young enough to forget about it at some point

The sets and props for Miley were incredible and really added to the overall excitement of the show. I did think she seemed a little out of it though. I don't know if it was fatigue, the stress of the tour and the tragedy with her bus driver, or a combination of all of that, but I don't know how to put my finger on it exactly except to say she just wasn't what I expected in terms of her interaction with the audience and the way she carried herself.

Overall, we had a great time and I'm glad we went! I was thrilled we were allowed to take cameras in, I got some great pictures of the evening!

Planning to enjoy a Thanksgiving feast with my family tomorrow and then fast for the next few weeks!!!

Kimberly,,,,, Congrats on the concert. She seemed a little tired when she was here in Indy. I also can't quite put my finger on it. We've seen her in concert now five times. How about the motorcycle up in the air???? COOL!! We were only about thirty feet from the stage. In the first set of risers. Almost direct line of eyesight with her. I bet I could have yelled and she would have heard. I also didn't care for Metro Station. Those tattoos,,,,, Yuch! Trace Cyrus. And then there is Mitchell Musso's brother. Did you notice the family resemblence? Pretty much,,,, it was a Miley night.

That is great you are surprising your daughter. We received our Docs just now! We also check in online but is the last item to get which signifies the trip is really close now. We will be spending a couple of days after the cruise at the property. I want to surprise my hubby and take him to some areas he would enjoy that I got to see in July during a work conference. They were at Epcot and Hollywood Studios. I think we will get a magic our way hopper ticket with no expiration if I can swing it. That way when we cruise again if we have the time we will be able to use the tix.

We are decorating the house on Sunday. We are not putting up a tree but we are decorating the house. Our daughter and grandson are coming out for a couple of days before we leave to wish us Bon Voyage!

Hi Nez-Bleu!!!!! Hey to Jim!!! We're back on page two. I'll bump us up. It is 2:30AM here in Indy. In 2 and 1/2 hours, we'll get up and go to Lowes to look for a stove and microwave. They price match, I hear. Some great deals are out there. Also, we are looking at the 197 notebook. Frys also has some good deals. Would ideally like to consider getting an lcd tv, but just can't make the decision. Other docs arrived a few days ago. SOOOOOOOOOOO

Congratulations on scoring a good deal on the appliances, Bill!

We're trying to get back into a routine mindset after having a few wonderful days of no schedules! DD spent a couple nights with the in-laws and DH and I enjoyed some adult R&R together and with some friends who were in town.

I got all my FE gifts assembled and ready to go! Glad you'll be joining us on that, Proud2BMomof3!

I'm going to begin packing this week. At least in terms of deciding what's going in the suitcase. I'll have to go through my stuff and figure out outfits that I can mix and match so I don't have to take as much as last time.

I think we have finished our Christmas shopping I got some stuff wrapped and packed up for shipping and plan to drop those off at the post office early this week.

The Christmas tree is up and the front door is decorated...that's about it for us this year in terms of decorations. I just don't want to have to face taking down a lot when we get home. I feel like a bah-humbug, but I'm just really looking forward to coming home and relaxing (some more!!!) after traveling over the holidays. I can't believe how close this cruise is now...yep Bill, 20 days!

I ate too much also! I tried really hard not to but couldnt resist the pumpkin pie. It has been all down hill after that. The inside of the house is decorated and hubby is putting the lights outside today-he promised. I have grades to enter for five classes in the gradebooks which will take about two hours to assemble electronically as I have to go through all the electronic submissions and make sure everything has been scored in addition to entering in the scores of the papers they have given to me. It is the the last of their semester work except for their final paper which will come in next week. After that we are wrapping all the presents for everyone as next week we start our packing. FE's are packed, however I must admit we have decided to rearrange some items of our packing so that we can keep things at a minimum weight. We are alo going to Disneyland Tuesday to celebrate our anniversary so that is another short trip to plan for but not a lot of packing involved there. Welcome to the Nez Blu fom UK! Got to go!
