12/17/05 Magic?

I'm thinking about taking this cruise if the Magic is in the Caribbean. Is this a good time to cruise? It should be a western. Also, any ideas of what a 7 night this time of the year would run? Inside $799/$849 pp? Or, would it be more? The sail dates would be 12/17/05-12/24/05. Thanks.

I would imagine you could get a cat. 11 for around that price pp. Although they are speaking of new itineraries for 2005 so depending on where the ship goes that week it could be more.

Hopefully, the Magic will be in the Caribbean doing a 7 night. We'd really love to take this cruise! Perfect for the Christmas season!

I was told that DCL will release the remaining sale dates for 2005 sometime early spring. Although I read somewhere on these boards that someone thought they would be released sometime this month.

We are also hoping for a Caribbean itinerary. The funny thing is that my TA was able to confirm our request for a cat. 3 and a cat. 10 on the 12/24/05 Eastern Caribbean cruise some time last month through a DCL manager. Then when we tried to reserve 3 more rooms our TA was told that there was an "executive decision" to close bookings on this cruise for the time being. We are thinking that this may mean a change in itineraries, but who knows? I guess there is maybe the possibility of another 10-day? We were also thinking that we may still get a Caribbean, but maybe it would include one of the new ports of calls that they are testing? We are anxiously awaiting some announcement.

I'm really getting anxious to see "12/17/05 - Western Caribbean 7 Night" as a cruise option! I'm thinking about going category 7, but category 3 would be great! I'll have to think about that one!
