Hi Everybody

Welcome Back Stacey. Did ya win lots of $$$$$$ or just the usual donation. Glad you got to meet up with one of the 'ol 10 day gang!!

jEn, you really only get lunch every other day :earseek: . Now, that's the diet Jimmy needs...what school is that??

I'm back to work. First day was pretty, well, um, interesting. Everyone misses their mommy, everyone crying at the drop of the hat and everyone wants to be held...NOW!!!! Jimmy had to come home early to take Julia to open house at school and he said he will never come home again before 4 o'clock (that's when the kids leave) . And, he's done the dishes for me the last two nights. He really thought I just hang out all day and play Play-Doh. He got an eye opener walking in the middle of the day.

But this year I have baby Joseph (4 months) , I'm in love  . It makes it all worth it or maybe I'm just nuts!!!!

Well, gotta go get some rest or they'll eat me alive tommorrow.

Do I really get a TOP????

I am jealous of you all and the Hershey weekend. Oh well. I get to go to NYC this coming weekend and I just bought our airline tickets for next March to HAWAII!! I am psyched!!!!!

Lots of rain here as the remnants of Katrina drop upon us, but better that than what they got south of us and the farmers have been saying we need the rain, though it may be too little too late. Oh well.

Hope everyone is well.....

Hi everybody !!!

No school for Kira tomorrow so I'm off work. Clothes monster and groceries are calling my name.
Have to go get the kids in bed and myself too.
Thanks again Stacey ( in advance).

Ok so we are thinking of extending our trip next year and going to WDW after the cruise. Which resort is the coolest? We have been thinking about the safari lodge and also the grand floridian. Any opinions? I also like wilderness lodge. Reminds me of Grand Californian. As you all can see I am at a loss having never been. I know I know I should hang my head in shame. :confused3

Talk to you all later. Sweet dreams. -D

How long might you stay, Denise? My personal opinion is to stay on the Monorail line...especially with your girls being little. They will want to spend more time at the Magic Kingdom than the other parks, and it is just so much easier to be at the GF, Contemporary, Polynesian...or Wilderness Lodge where you are only a boat ride away.
Our first trip down with the kids we stayed at the Poly, and we all loved it. The kids loved the pool, and being so close to the MK.
They are more $$ than the other places, though. Megan stayed at Animal Kingdom Lodge for her honeymoon, in a Savannah View Suite (thank you Mommy) but she wasn't as impressed with that as much as she was the GF or Poly.
I really enjoyed our stay this summer at the Beach Club, but the kids are older, and enjoyed walking to Epcot, and didn't mind the long bus rides to get to the other parks. I wouldn't do that with little ones...and the cost wasn't really any cheaper.

Good Morning - Denise, I would also suggest checking out the cabins in Ft Wilderness. Full kitchen and a separate bedroom, great for little ones and some privacy. A nice boat ride away from the MK.

gaRry - I am only about 2 hours from Hershey and I don't have anyone to stay with DM, Jeanne, and the dogs so I will probably drive up for the day. My house, dogs, and grandmother sitters LEFT FOR COLLEGE.

Sue

We are thinking about a few days to stay. Good point about the ways to get to the park. Besides we have the Wild Animal Park so the girls would get a bigger thrill out of something different. The Grand Floridian looks alot like the Hotel del Coronado. Was it designed after that hotel?

BTW Pixie dust to the people hit by the storm. :lovestruc

Off to market. jiggity jig. D

Yep...the Grand Floridian was modeled after the Del. We stayed at the Del a couple of times when I was younger, so staying at the GF brings back some fond memories. There was a really special feeling about staying at the GF.

Jen....package is in the mail today. Or it will be when I go out in a bit.

Denise....still box hunting. Triangle thingys are very odd shaped. Almost like a triangle! :confused3

:teacher: hmmm

You're funny Stacey.

Time to get Sierra a hair cut. The little girls at the bus stop were dis-ing her the other day. Little punks. (Oh was that out loud?)

Birthday party this year is at Pump it Up. Anyone ever been? Woo what fun. I want a party there. Talk to you all later.

Yea! :cheer2: Denise! All boxed up and ready to go !!! Let me just say that Cave Creek Welding does nothing small...... just a word of warning. That puppy is huge. Geez.
Guaranteed, the buckaroos out on the range will hear the dinner bell !!

What is Pump It Up? Or dare I ask??

JEN.....$14.99 + 2.44 ....so that equals ......ummmmm.......$17.43. I think. :headache:

Tell the "little punks" that they're just jealous because their moms are fat and ugly!

Better yet...teach Sierra to say "Don't hate me because I'm BEE-YOU-TEE-FULL"

DENICE,
you might want too go to the WDW before the cruise
:confused3 :confused3
SOME will tell you that MIGHT BE ALOT BETTER the last cruise some went after and was very sorry they did it that way.

there was A FEW MORE THAN ALOT of people at the parks then.

JUST A thought.

:cool1: :pug: :teeth: :confused3

Denise,

GaRry is right. We stayed at WDW after the 10-day and really didn't like all the crowds. You can't move anywhere without bumping into someone...For the next 10-day, we're planning on going before the cruise...though Keith's school will probably love it...NOT!

I'll be one of the crazy people going to WDW after the cruise, Denise. So we can be sardines together if you want to hang out. I'll be in trouble for this trip, I'm sure, for taking julia out of school for a full week before X-Mas Break starts. I got a nasty note at the end of this year because of the 5 days she took for the 2004 cruise. That along with the 4 sick days put her over the amount allowed by the state.

Your girls are young so you could definately get away with it if you wanted to do a pre-cruise WDW Trip. But if you do a post trip, we could do a day at the water park and dinner at my condo :smooth: .

Good Morning - Busy day, off the Curves, vet appt for Jesse and Sam, pick up sister and give her a ride home, get Nick and Emmy from school.......... Geez, I'd better get going!

That is the biggest understatement of the year! there were thousands of people everywhere. Right before the new year's show of IllumiNations, the line for test track was 4 hours long for the regular line, and 3 for the standbye line! mission space was 5 and 4 respectively. That is insane! it was so crowded. It was a nightmare. I would do it again in a heartbeat though. However (i am running out of transition words :teacher: ), packing enough clothes for the 10 day, then 4 more days at disney was a challenge, so we spent like 5 hours doing laundry. we had to do i think 6 loads, because the washers and dryers were really small. oh well. lol.

Okay stacey, i will get a check out for $17.43. lol. You were right.

Well, garry and Sue, i put in my time off request for the 17th and 18th yesterday. have to wait until friday to see if i get off. Told them it was a family gathering, so i guess now you are my family. haha!!!

well, study hall is almost over. talk to you all later.

hI ALL,
Thanks for the info on WDW. So you guys are saying it will be like DL was the other weekend? Something to ponder. I really want my first trip there to be nice.

Pump it Up is a genius idea someone had. Take a warehouse, put a bunch of inflatable interactives in it, make a room for parties and walla...instant kid party place. It's airconditioned, has music, supervisors for the kids and mom doesn't have to clean up. :cheer2: :cheer2: www.PumpitUpParty.com.

Sierra looks beautiful with her haircut. 3 inches off. Wow what a difference.

Stacey, I'm afraid. How big is big? Will we need a crane? Should we check the integrity of the roof structure before hanging it? Thank you again. :earboy2:

Wellp off to the bus stop.

GarRy that was the first time you have ever spoken to me directly.... :love2:

Have a great day all. -D

No crane, Denise...but I maybe would check the integrity of the roof structure! He used a much thicker bar for it than what I had imagined. It's not fancy, except the swirly-q's on the ends.... See, I know SO MUCH technical language!
All I know is that if they can't hang it, they can always use it for their boat anchor! :earseek:
