Personal Hygiene

1. While ears need to be cleaned regularly, this job should be done in private with one's OWN truck keys.

2. Proper use of toiletries can forstall bathing for several days. However, if you live alone, doedorant is a waste of good money.

Dining Out

1. When decanting wine, make sure you tilt the paper cup, and pour slowly so as not to "bruise" the fruit of the vine.

2. If drinking directly from the bottle, always hold it with your fingers covering the label.

Dating (Outside the Family)

1. Always offer to bait your date's hook, especially on the first date.

2. Be aggressive...let her know you're interested: "I've been wanting to go out with you since I read that stuff on the bathroom wall two years ago."

3. Establish with her parents what time she is expected back. Some will say, "10:00pm"; Others mights "Monday". If the latter is the answer, it is the man's responsibility to get her to school on time.

Theatre Etiqutte

1. Crying babies should be taken to the lobby and picked up immediately after the movie has ended.

2. Refrain from talking to the characters on the screen; tests prove they can't hear you.

Tips For All Occasions

1. Never take Beer to a Job Interview.

2. Always identify people in your yard before shooting them.

3. It's considered tacky to take a cooler to church.

4. If you have to vaccuum the bed, it's time to change the sheets.

5. Even if you are sure you are included in the will, it's still considered tacky to bring a U-Haul to the funeral home.

Have a GREAT DAY Everyone!!

Mary Ann......:rotfl: :rotfl: ....too funny! The jokes, not the sausage fingers. Which, by the way, I haven't been able to wear my wedding ring for the last couple of months...I'm blaming it on the heat...but that's probably not true!!

GARRY!!! You should know better than to post NUMBERS like that, and the fact that you were DRIVING!!!! Number Two Nag is going to yell at you! ARE YOU CRAZY?????
Shame on you! Which part of "Take care of yourself" do you NOT understand??? Don't make me come up there!!

Nag over.

If it's a long post, yes......but a short one...I just double-type!

Hi everybody,

Home from Disneyland. :earsgirl: Found some hidden Mickey's, drank some sake, rode Space Mountain with Sierra (row 1!!), saw Richard and Allison , and am dead tired. We sent those brats off to the Magic this morning.
It was so great to see all the decorating they did for the anniversary. How much gold paint do you guys think they used anyways?
I'm going to make it short as I have a really bad cold in my chest and am really tired. Hey Bubbles, Allison and Richard said to say hello. Lynda to you too if you are out there.
I think I'll go to the doctor on Monday.

Take care everyone!

D

Welcome back, Denise....Welcome Back, Sue.

It must have been hot down there, Sue.

Denise, are Richard and Allison going to join the thread when they get back to England? Make sure you see that Dr. Nothing worse than a summer cold.

Well, it's raining, thunder and lightning this AM. Supposed to do a DIS meet at Canobie Lake Park. The weather couldn't be worse :umbrella: . It's supposed to clear out after the front passes through....hope so.

Have a great day everyone.

Denise - Great news about your job, Sad news about your health. Lazy Sunday and good thing since it will be HOT, HAZY, and HUMID today.

Sue

Morning all,

Rough night. I think its the roughest I've had.

Oh Bubbles I hope that the rain lets up for you.

Sue stay cool today. It's supposed to be 88 here, but we don't have the humidity. Thank goodness.

We are off to the playground and then to mom and dads for bbq ribs dinner. YUMMY :thewave:

Everybody have a great day. Sorry I've dropped off of posting but my new job is keeping me busy.

:wave2: -D

I'M BACK!

Wow, that was a great vacation. Bonaire is awesome except for the sleezy thiefs down there. haha. No decompression sickness for me. I am a certified PADI Rescue Diver now. Next step, divemaster. Well, i think i have to be a master scuba diver first, because you have to be 18 to be a dive master. poop. so whats been going on? any newbies? anybody to add to the list? i think i need a new countdown clock now. haha. Not sure what it will count down to though.

Garry!!! BOO LOADS!!!!!!!!! she does! i saw it with my own 2 eyes. I get to ride her on wednesday. I am really excited. lol.

Well, i have lots of pretty dive pictures to upload. Think i will start that now. Got some last minute school work to do since school starts the 29th.

Well, if you have any questions about my experience, the diving, the traveling (which i will say now is REALLY BAD!), etc, just send me a PM or post here. Email works too. ttyl all. off to upload pics.

Denise.....hope you feel better soon!! Yuckky yuckky cold...go away!!

Sue...we're still waiting for details of your trip!!

jEn.....we missed you!! It was waaaaay too quiet here!! Thiefs?? What happened?? Everything okay? We didn't have any trouble down there, but we did have some friends who had their clothes stolen from their truck while they were diving. We always left the car doors unlocked, and windows open, so that if someone was going to "break in" they wouldn't break a window that we would have to pay for!

I guess real life grabbed me sooner than I had expected. Trip details later today.

Have a good day.

Sue

I wish I could go back to sleep this morning! Took dd to the Indianapolis zoo yesterday and to Build a Bear. Then I stayed up way too late yesterday working on laundry, etc. I slept 45 minutes past my alarm this morning. Thank goodness I don't have to be anywhere until 8:00! And I hurt everywhere. Can I just go back to bed and not do anything today?

gaRry, you aren't supposed to drive with sugar that low! Believe me, I know. I have probably driven that low and it is BAAAAAAD to do that. I get yelled at. Are you hypoglycemic or diabetic?

Well, I have to finish my breakfast and find some clothes for dd and then take my shower and head to work. Hubby's classes start today. He is teaching 5 this semester and also working 24 hours a week at the auto shop. Crazy boy.

Kat, you have my permission to blow off work and return to bed...if only it was that easy, huh?

Welcome back, jEn!! Sounds like you had a great time. Love to hear the 'bout the "thieves". I can't believe school is statring already. Gee, that was a fast summer. Where did it go :confused3 .

Had a great day at the DIS meet yesterday. The weather cleared out nice and it was hot & humid. Great for those water rides. IT was a small enough meet for most of us to stick together and hang out for the day. Karen posted some great pitcures.

How you feeling, Denise. Better, I hope.

A guy sticks his head into the barber shop and asks, "How long before I can get a haircut?" The barber looks around and replies, "About 2 hours." The guy leaves.

A few days later, the guy sticks his head in the door and asks, "How long before I can get a haircut?" The barber looks around at a shop full of customers and says, "About 3 hours." The guy leaves.

A week later, the same guy pokes his head in the shop and asks, "How long before I can get a haircut?" The barber looks around and says, "About an hour and a half." The guy leaves.

Confused, the barber looks over at a friend in the shop and says, "Hey, Bill, follow that guy and see where he goes. He keeps asking how long he has to wait for a haircut, but then never comes back."

A little while later, Bill returns, laughing hysterically. The barber asks, "Bill, where did he go when he left here?" Bill looks up, tears in his eyes and says, "Your House!!!"

Have a Great Day, Everyone

LOL!!!! :rotfl2: :rotfl: :rotfl2: :rotfl: :rotfl2: :rotfl:

Actually, I did take the day off! DD did not want to go across the street today (last day before school starts tomorrow). I have plenty of vacation time so what the heck!

I didn't get my shopping done yesterday anyway so we are off to the grocery store and then take care of a few other errands while we are at it.

Hope everyone is well and happy.....
