12/16/06 10-day holiday cruise Part 4

Hey Jen (or anyone else), I need your help! Most of my outdoor pictures came out VERY blue. What photo editing program would you recommend to fix them???? Thanks!!

Sorry can't help you...I have to take my pictures to WalMart today to get developed...my flash went off in every picture, even in the sun. I had no luck with cameras on this trip!!!

would usually take at least 150 pictures with digital but because had to by the throw away Kodak only took about maybe 50 or 60...the worst part is that I cant just download into my comp and put the ones I want in my photo file or download onto disk. Will need to scan than put onto disk....to much work if you ask me.

Last week at this time we were on St. Lucia , wish I was still there!!! I miss the boat and all our new friends!!! Post-cruise depression has definitely hit!

I have a few pictures to send to you once I get the blue out of the ones from the pirate cruise! I got a couple of you and other DISers and I think I have one or two with Billy in the background. Plus some from Pirate Night and the ornament exchange and Palo brunch.

Hello from the Orlando airport...

Our flight is 1hr 5 min delayed. Luckily, because 20 other people on this flight are Seattle-bound, they're holding our connection.

Yesterday I managed to forget the digicam was hanging on my shoulder when I swung my backpack off in the Animal Kingdom...No more digicam...Jen, I REALLY need this web link now!

All in all, it was an AMAZING vacation, made so much better by so many of you! Thanks so much for helping me and Keith create some special memories on our own -- 1st XMAS without dad would have been much harder for him (and me) if not for this vacation and you all.

I'm sorry I didn't get to meet all of you. I hope we can keep in touch through the thread.

THANKS TO ALL OF YOU!!! I am sorry that I did not get to meet many of you. It seemed like we were always on the go. I took 830 pictures. I have pictures for many of you.

Congrats to Palakacruisers - Laura and Rick Blackburn
You know the Adopted Lusks - the family crammed right in between our four cabins.

For those of you that don't know they were the Disney Family choosen to board the ship first. TOO COOL!!

We developed about 200 pictures and have an album already. However, SIL & BIL have about another 800 pictures between the two of them and video that we need to combined in.

I have been beset by stomach issues this evening. Glad it was today and not three days ago!!!! Starving, but no dinner for me tonight, not a good idea .

Finally got the last load of laundry into the dryer a while ago. Ugh. Still haven't finished unpacking, ugh again!

My daughter loved getting cards every day. Wish we had thought earlier to do cards but by the time we thought of it, there was no time. All in all, it was a great cruise and a great pleasure meeting some of you. Sorry I couldn't make all the meets and meet everyone, but with three kids pulling us in different directions, it was tough.

Hi everyone....
Dee was wondering if you were going to get any new fish?? hope you do because you care about them so much.

We lost 1 fish while we were gone but he was sick and gave antibiotics 3 different times and seemed to get better but than got sick again.

Came home and cleaned out the tank and Billie went and saved 3 feeder fish(baby gold fish) from being eaten....yae for Billie...

Still working on getting all the clothes put away...should finish by the next 3 or 4 days...no rush thank you!!!

Well, I will touch base soon...till than have a blessed day

Thanks to everyone for all the goodies in our stocking. It was so much fun seeing what the new surprise would be. And I love my Minnie Ornament. I'm glad that we did the exchange and I could meet some of you. I will post a picture when I'm a bit more clear headed.

We both came home and proceeded to get very sick and from different things. David has a horrid cold that seems to get better then worse again and I feel like I'm going through drug withdrawal. Have no idea what I've got. But at least I can see the computer screen today.

It was wonderful sailing with all of you and I hope we can do it again.

For those who didn't hear my whining on the cruise -- the wind storm that went through our area while Keith and I were cruising cut off power to our house for ~5 days. As a result (and because the person taking care of my pets was not a fish person), all of our tropical fish died. I had a very vibrant tank going, and it really hurts to have lost everything...

Sorry to hear of your loss. We had been preparing Rebecca for the possibility her prized goldfish might not make it (for the same reason -- fear of a power outage, especially since the night before we left, we tripped the breaker to the fish tank and don't know why). But all three fish as well as Janie's betta survived the 10 days and are thriving.
