help...help....how do I make another user name for the kids boards...they don't want to use mine of course!!!!

You have to create a new user name. You have to log out of the DIS boards first. My DD has an email address so I used that. Since she is a minor, though, I had a form to print out and sign. They want me to fax it back but the phone number they want it faxed back to had a recording today saying it was out of service for incoming calls. Go figure.

Jen, no one's leaving the group. Angela and I have a mini-meet set up this Sunday. Her BIL and his family had to bow out of that one. Don't panic

The technical difficulties I referred to trying to get DS on the computer were the same ones that you guys had--permission slip, no e-mail, I tried to let him use mine but they said already taken. So we've got to figure out what to do about getting him his own, I guess! And I guess according to this we have to figure out how to get them the permission slip they want. If anyone figures it out let us know and I'll do the same. Hopefully we can get to it this weekend, but our neighborhood tennis center crisis has created a little accounting project I've been asked to help with--when the guy left, he took the books, so the interim person has to start from scratch. In keeping things going on the courts she has no time to do office stuff. Somebody told her I knew how to do that stuff. (I tried to stay low..... )

Mickey or no mickey, the shirts are cute. When I showed it to DS10 as we were working on getting him set up, he said "I've GOT to have one of those!"

You know what? That's a good point. If he just uses my ID and announces himself (like he would if he called someone on the phone) then I don't have to get another e-mail (which I'm not really ready to turn him loose with) and I can have him do it when I'm present. I like that idea! But I can't do it right now--we have boys running amuck. Yep, it's Friday! That's the thing with having 3sons--they turn into 7 or 8 boys before you know what happened!

Wow no posts since 3 this afternoon. You can tell it is Friday. I got some smokin' deals today. Walmart Flip Flops $.50 each. and Fred Meyer 70% off lowest marked price! New swimsuit reg $44 for $4. I love to shop. I had been curbing it though until today!!

Good Morning All

I haven't set up Julia's account ont he kid's thread yet. I need to get her email account set up (again ). She is just using mine until I can straiten that out.

Whatever is decided on the t-shirts is fine with me. Actually, I'll probably just get one for Julia. The shirts you designed look great, Jen. I'll have to play around with the words to see how much I can fit on the bracelets.

Heading into Boston for the weekend. I have a houseguest for the weekend. Our own fellow DISer, Mrs Escola - she's still on California time and snoozing away . We are going to do a bunch of touristy stuff - Duck Tours, Freedom Trail and such. It is supposed to be a gorgeous weekend, perfect for walking around.

No t-shirt for you, Mary Ann ? Definitely go for the bracelets. I thought we had those decided? I know I want one for me and one for Samantha. I doubt DH will wear one. Not sure if he'll wear a t-shirt either, for that matter .

Don't need anything from WalMart that I can get right now. Wouldn't mind a new swim suit but no Fred Meyer around here and I won't buy a suit I can't try on first. Unfortunately we won't be getting into Orlando early enough Friday to shop either. Oh well, gotta make do with what I have. That's ok. It was good enough for Hawaii so it should be good enough for the cruise too. I may try to look around here this weekend and see if anyone has ANYTHING left, that is if my stomach settles down. Had an upset stomach since the middle of the night. Ugh.

I haven't been able to find the t-shirt I want in a size that I can wear so I may have to find a black t-shirt and get some dark iron-on stuff and make one. I think I need new cartridges for my printer. The color is looking a bit off. Guess that means I do have to go shopping, eh? Like I need and excuse.

Jen - I went to Target too! I got a great deal on men's socks. 6-Pack for $2. That is a good deal right? When I shop relatively close to home, it is usually Target, Walmart, and Fred Meyers. Have to go to the mall otherwise. But everything else is within 5-6 miles.

Morning all ,
Nice to here all is well. I am off to do some shopping today also. We also have our Octoberfest here in my town this weekend so will be heading to that... Yay Me... Trying to convince my DS's to get there flu shot soon at least by the end of October beggining of November and they just don't won't to here about it. They would rather not go on the cruise.
Dh and I don't want to take the chance of them getting the flu while right before or during our trip..even though we have insurance still don't want to miss going.
Any suggestions?
As far as my kids posting they will just use my name with there introduction....
The shirts are great! I like the idea of the iron on if no other way.
What are the bracelets?
W'ell time to go and have my coffee and get my day started...I seem to be on a 3 hr difference on this thread than everyone else..lol...when I come on to say hi, everyone has come and gone.
