Happy Feet tomorrow afternoon with Mom, DD and a friend or hers, then probably Bond tomorrow night (just DH and myself).

I wish I had a staging area. I usually use the spare room but the kid's friend will be there tonight and DB is coming sometime after Thanksgiving but before cruise so I cannot have stuff spread all over there. I may put one suitcase on the floor of my closet and another on the floor of the spare room closet. I think that's the only way I am going to be able to do this.

But better to blame you! :sad2:

Jen, you'll have to tell me how the movie is...I posted a minute ago, my MIL has decided we'll be going next week. My boys think the Bond will be good--a little darker, less pretty-boy.

yes Pierce Brosnan made me drool :lovestruc

Well, I have a staging area, but can't be used for packing...can be used to gather Christmas gifts, cards, office supplies for kids projects, bills, etc. etc. But must be done in a slightly more tidy fashion here soon!

He WAS pretty hot...not as big a priority for my guys! :confused3 :rotfl:

yeah i'd be scared if your boys took priority in the way Bond looked lol

Yeah, Brosnan was definitely hot as Bond but I still say Connery was the best Bond.

And I never could stand Roger Moore as Bond. He was always The Saint, no matter what anyone else said. He was too stuffed shirt. And I couldn't stand Timothy Dalton.

I am so glad it is almost 5:00. This has been a day. My Monty Python black knight is still sitting over there with all his arms and legs torn off. And the undead monkey is looking pretty sickly. I think he may come on the cruise with me :thumbsup2 . Gotta have the undead monkey for pirate night.

i agree!

Now to see if we still have a garment bag. I thought we did but cannot find it. :confused3 Hopefully it is somewhere around. Maybe in the attic somewhere??? DH said we would finally put the Halloween decorations up there tonight and get the suitcases down so I will have to look.

its amazing how even I agree with the bond thing lol

I thought you were agreeing to "Must have an undead monket for pirate night" :rotfl2:

hmm YES!! that's awesome! but i don't think he would get through customs

So an hour ago the boy across the street was playing in my yard....then he went home and Kev wondered why he didn't come back....then the ambulances pulled up....

Wow! talk about a change in your day....

The guy across the street (the little boys' father was diagnosed with cancer just over 2 years ago.) He's been very sick, but I guess this wasn't the end. He continues treatment, even though the cancer continues to get worse...I guess he just had a really awful response to his treatment...they've taken him to the hospital.

I don't know what to hope for..the mom is very stoic and brave, but the whole process of watching him degrade and having to become a permanent caregiver has taken a toll on her...not to mention the poor little boy. She told me last Friday, when he started this last round of treatment, she asked the boy not to go too far because she might need him to help "check on dad." By Saturday night she did let him come sleep over here, though. She's had a very tough life for the past two years....

OK, I'm bummed...I think I'll go hug my kids or something...

I have lost several people (including my Dad this past January) to Cancer, so I understand it is a very difficult thing to witness. My heart goes out to this family and to you for having to share their pain.

Definately...go give your kids a hug, and here's another one for you :grouphug: :grouphug:
