Jen, sometimes ya scare me a little

I thought of you last night while I was watching the Star Wars Sith movie. It was premier night on HBO so I watched it in HDTV. I'm not a huge Star Wars fan, but I thought it was a very cool movie. Great special effects.

i scare myself sometimes. lol. But hey, as long as i know what i'm doing, it will be alright.

Revenge of the sith is awesome!

Good Morning All

Don't ya hate when it rains Friday afternoon until Sunday night. Then when you have to got back to work the sun comes out and it's 68 degrees .

How did your talk with Julia about the kitty go?

Samantha has been asking for an American Girl doll for a while now so I think that for her big 10th birthday in August we are going to go up to Chicago for a mother-daughter overnight and go the AG store. She already knows and is really excited about it.

Don't know what you are talking about Bubbles. It was 97 here on Sat. and a cool 87 on Sun. No rain in sight. Oh the joy of living in a drought tolerant area.

Speaking of heat...you still out there Stacey?

Oh Kat I can't wait for my oldest to get excited about those dolls. They are so pretty.

Denise, yeah, but they aren't cheap! Fortunately Chicago is drivable from here so we will drive up Saturday morning and come home Sunday. I would love to stay at a hotel in the downtown area but ouch!!

How did your talk with Julia about the kitty go?

As expected.....not well at all. We have two older cats, and with the exception of one having some white, they look alike. She kept on insisting she saw Mindy last week which I know she was mistaken. It kind of stinks because everyone is still talking about the fox (the whole thing of it attacking a girl happened only a few doors up) and she gets this look on her face, like she's ready to break down, everytime.

Poor Kid! Samantha had a guinea pig when she was about 3 and it died. Our neighbor helped her have a funeral for it and the buried Peanut Butter (the pig's name) but even now, 7 years later, she still tells us how much she misses Peanut Butter!!!!! I didn't realize the pig had that much effect on her at that age, but I guess it did.

i was 14 when i lost one horse to an ankle fracture and another to West Nile. I'm almost 18 and still devistated.

I'm with you guys...I miss my kitty. I keep looking for him at the window and I swear I saw him on the couch the other night.

Where is Jeri? Did I miss something or is she just a working fool?

Denise, maybe you did! DH had to have his 18yo siamese put to sleep in 1995. Right until we moved from that house 4 years ago we would see and even hear him (siamese yowls are VERY distinctive) around the house. My cat acted like she saw him too!

Yeah Kat that's what I was thinking about. Nemo the friendly ghost. I like to think he's around, jut as long as the little apparition doesn't keep scratching the furniture.
