We are in Buckley, Washington. The foothills of Mt. Rainier. We were only out of power for about 17 hours. Had a generator though. But this is the kicker, 1500 feet away from us never lost power. LOL I guess we were the lucky ones. It ended up being near zero with the wind chill. Our DS went to grandmas half mile away and enjoyed all the comforts of electricity. 31 degrees feels almost tropical with little wind today.
Goose, I might have some well aged Boonesfarm. Maybe a few drops in a bottle keepsake from --oh I don't know 11th grade. (14 years) But I think the hillbillies around here just called it BOONES. I distinctly remember MD 20/20 is that was it was called. Mad Dog? Too. Anyway it has been years since I have had the pleasure of Boones. 1800 makes me happy. Really we don't drink except on special occasions. I think the trip might give us several occasions. LOL.
Have a good day all.
