Its 50 here right now but then again its only 7 in the morning. Should end up in the 70's. Stacey are you going to get one of the Golden Mickey Ears shirts when you go? I have a friend picking me one up this weekend as I do not see a trip any time soon. All savings are going for the cruise.
D

I ordered a couple of the 50th anniversary t-shirts from Mouseshoppe a long time ago, when I thought I wasn't going to get over there for the 50th. So I'm going to take those. I was going to pack some sweatshirts for night time, but I think I'll wait and buy something there. I have over $400 on my Disney Rewards card that I need to blow!

Over $400 that you need to blow! Hey, I'll help! Actually, I am working on building mine up in preparation for December. I am going to try to pay it down so I can use it to pay off the cruise this fall which will put a chunk on it for me.

staCey BLOW some this way WILL YAAAAAAAA :rotfl2:

technically, I am supposed to go visit my parents at the end of this month...but it's WINTER there! :cold: I have been putting off making plane ressies. WDW sounds a lot better!

I would love to have used the Rewards card to go toward our room at D-Land....but they made me pre-pay the whole bill. So I'll use it for food...since I am feeding Jared, that should take a huge hunk of it.
Whatever is left over, I'll use on the May cruise.

Been warm and 50's the last 2 days here but it is all about to change!!!! Looks like cold and snow ALL NEXT week :badpc: And I just got the Vette all gussied up for a cruise........... :rotfl2:

I think you should store that Vette in a warmer climate for the winter months. Let me see if I can think of someplace warm.....hmmmm......HEY! I know!! You could send it here, to sunny Arizona! I had a 1974 Stingray, so I know how to handle one....I'd take good care of it....honest.....:car:

Lynda!!!! Where have you been woman? Just pop in every once in a blue moon huh? What Cash keeping you busy?

Hey a ladies cruise....OMG I think we would end up being exiled from DCL. :lmao:

 D

Mom and I have been wrestling with medical problems...hers much worse than mine but I was away for a couple of months keeping her out of trouble...I just got out of surgery a couple of hours ago...results still pending... but likely not to be too serious...I mean, I just don't feel like having problems right now...ya know?

With the possibility of a DCL Med repo cruise in May i'm pondering whether or not to scrap my RCCI transatlantic b-day cruise and then trade in my Christmas triple play deposits in on a sizeable payment on THAT repo cruise...

That's a tough one....and I am sooooo sorry you are having troubles! Hope that all works out okay.

I wouldn't do one of the Med Repo cruises, because if I am going that far, I'm going to want to see the ports.
But something that I don't have to factor in (yet!) are a trusty dog and a scooter. Which line (for a transatlantic) is going to treat you better???

Ahh, troubles is my middle name...I just don't want things to get worse...Mom is now in an assisted living center after a stroke during heart surgery left her in a mild state of dementia and not able to live on her own any more. I'm feeling pretty good but on pins and needles waiting for the lab results...

The RCCL transatlantic cruise, my b-day present to myself this year goes to Portugal and Spain (Barcelona), which I missed during my month-long tour of Europe ten years ago (pre-Cash and pre-scooter). The rest of that part of Europe I've seen before and not likely to want to revisit. I was going to take a train to Paris from Barcelona and visit DLP again and then shoot home from Paris but all that depends on the lab. results. I really just want to take a long cruise...the reason for the DCL triple play (not to see Caribbean ports again) and a transatlantic to Spain and Portugal would just ideal except that, for sheer time spent cruising, I would rather do DCL than RCCL...
:confused3 :confused3

Well, then, Lynda...you answered your own question. You want to do Disney's transatlantic! See how easy that was? ;)

Hi all. This will be our first cruise. I am very excited to find you all. Because we are new to this some of the abbrv. have me stumped alittle. Since none of the brochures really talk about the Disney Christmas Cruise, I would love to hear about what happens. My husband read that some people actually decorate their doors and stuff like that. I think it will be really nice.

I would love to hear from you.

Thanks
Fabulusk

Welcome to the DIS boards! This will be our first cruise, too. Take a look through the thread to get an idea of who you will be sailing with :scared1: but don't worry, I think they (we) are really harmless. If you go to Jen's website (the first post has the link) you can see the Navigators that tell about the activities from the 2004 cruise, and you will get lots of good information about DCL from the other threads.

GOOD MORNIN ALL

:welcome: :welcome:

Welcome and good morning. You will have a great time. A lot of these folks have cruised together before so they already know each other. Others, like me, are joining this bunch for the first time. I have been on the board since July and feel like I know most of these folks already.

Definitely contact Jen and give her your information so you can be added to the list.

Speaking of the list, Hey folks who don't have a lot of info on there.... What gives!!?? We want to know where everyone is hanging their hats, how many iin your party, etc etc etc....

Anyway, welcome!!!!

:tink: :stitch:

Woke up to a winter wonderland this morning. :cold: It rained yesterday morning then the sun shone during the afternoon. It has been in the 40's and 50's for a while and now snow. Ugh. Winter in Indiana.

hey guys. having a really bad week. don't really want to talk about it. I just can't wait to get back in the saddle. My butt is starting to soften, not good when you ride 5-10 horses a day. You need all the muscle. (lol)

I'm with ya jEN ever rode in a vette......Sometimes I think a horse would be smoother......can't let that butt soften up in the winter..... :rotfl2:

Hey welcome newbies!!! Last Christmas was my first cruise and being on the thread made it alot more fun. Yes there is alot of stuff they do for Christmas. Lots of decorations and celebrations. The group from the thread made it alot more fun too. Special get togethers and games. We decorated our cabin as well but only a little.Window clings, small wreaths, small trees that can be ordered and delivered to the ship (local florist), the ideas go on.
Hang in with the thread and plans and ideas will begin to develop. :thumbsup2

Hey Lampie nice ride. Your legs aren't near as scary in that pic as they were in the pool :) Have always wanted to get to NC. It looks lovely.

Well Kira and I are out for the day of fun together. Heard from DH and Sierra on their campout, Fun but cold.

Have a good one all. I'll check in later.

cheers-D
