Guess who's back. I usually get an e-mail notice when somebody posts. I haven't received any e-mails so I never checked in.

Beth & Sharon Samantha are doing good in Florida. I talk to them every couple of days. I really miss them. My pizza bill went down . Every other week-end it cost us 30.00 in pizza
I'm going to see them one day next month. My friend has a condo & i'm going down with her, the girls are coming over one day for a visit. I think we are going to Epcot.

John looks good with his new hair cut.

How was all the camping trips.

We are planning on a trip to disney in Sept. We are staying at Animal Kingdom Villa's. We are celebrating our 41 Anniversity. Our daughter who lives in Maine was going with us, plans changed & now she can't come. I was really looking forward her visit.

Hi guys! Our camping trip went really well. The weather was great. It did get REALLY windy on Sunday morning. We had to hang on to some of the little girls so they didn't blow away.

It sounds like our disbabies are getting so big, starting to walk.

The kids got their spring pictures back yesterday and I wanted to share. Sorry if they are big, I have tried to shrink them twice now.

Just checking in to say hello. John is still not officially walking, but he can. He is loving the outdoors. He wants to do everything on his own, and he really cannot. I foresee many trips to the ER. He especially loves going down the slide head first!!

Hi everyone

We're still waiting for spring to come and stay here. Mother Nature teases us with a few nice days then it turns cold again. It got down in the 30's overnight Monday but I think its finally going to start warming up.

Laura was mentioning last night that she's ready for the pool to open, they built a real nice aquatic center here last year. At the rate it's been going around here it's going to be late June before the pool is going to be warm enough for me.

Except for the fact that it got real cold on Friday night, the weather for the campout was good. Laura had a good time and was sad to go home on Sunday. We might try to take her camping this summer.

We had day camp training this past Sunday, it's hard to believe that summer is fast approaching. Laura has only 3 weeks left of school, she is out on May 21, then day camp is the following week, Tues - Fri.

Hi everyone. I hope all of you are doing well.

John started walking in earnest on Mother's Day. On April 15, he started letting go of things and taking a few steps. But on Mother's Day, he decided walking would be his main form of transportation. He's still a bit wobbly, but he's doing great.

Rachel is playing the lead role in a school play. It's a combination of Little Red Riding Hood and The Three Little Pigs. She's very excited about it.

Cristi, I meant to tell you I liked the pictures of your two kiddos.

Patty, it won't be long before school is put for Laura. Do you have plans for the summer yet?

Sharon, I hope you have a good visit to Florida. Eat lots of pizza.

Stacie and Meli, I miss you guys!!

When is our next cruise meet? I need a hammock in Castaway Cay!!

Susan, love your new sig picture. I'll bet Rachel is really excited about the play. That is pretty cool. It will be so cute. Yeah, John!!! Good job walking.

The kids are disappointed today. Today and tomorrow were their field days at school and they both got postponed until next week. It rained quite a bit yesterday, but is sunny today. I am not exactly sure why today's was cancelled. I guess the field was too wet? Tomorrow it is supposed to rain a lot again. I had taken today and tomorrow off to go and now I won't be able to go to them next week.

Hammock in Castaway Cay sounds great!

I think Meli got herself banned.

I just clicked on Stacie too and you can't PM her either. She might be banned too.

Hi everyone

Hope everyone is doing well. Laura is down to only 4 1/2 days of school left after today. Monday is field day, and next Wed they have their last all school mass and are dismissed at 11:00 so I think for all practical purposes school is done for the year.

Susan - We don't have much planned for the summer. Girl Scout Day camp is the last week in May (Tues - Fri). The next week she is doing a Kids in the Kitchen workshop and the next week she is going to a basketball camp at the high school that her cousin Adri plays basketball for. Laura also turns 7 that week so I will take the day (June 11) off from work and I'm taking her and a couple of her friends to Build-a-Bear and out to lunch.

My goddaughter gets married over the 4th of July weekend in Illinois so we will go up there for her wedding on the 4th then may head to Minniapolis for the rest of the weekend (it's about 4 hours from where the wedding is). Other than that we're staying pretty close to home with the price of gas and air fares.

Christy - We had our final Brownie meeting Monday for the year on Monday. I'm ready for the summer off. Laura could have gone to a residence camp this year, but I think she's a little young. She doesn't even like spending the night at a friends house. Maybe next year.

Hi everyone. I cannot believe it has been over 2 weeks since my last post here. Time surely is flying by. Don't you remember when we were counting down the months to our cruise?

Rachel has 2 more days of school. Tomorrow is her play. John is running around all over the place.

I think there are just 4 of us left here. I hate to see our cruise meet die...

Hi all (or the few that are left ) Kids are out of school and in Orlando as we speak. My parents took them along with my nephew to Orlando for a week. They will be hitting WDW for 4 days and Universal for 1 day. Brad and I have a wedding to go to tonight and tomorrow night. Then on Monday we are taking off for Corpus Christie to get away for a few days.

Guess who's back

well I went with my friend to Florida may 17-24. We drove home Memorial Day weekend.

We had lots of fun. I met up Sharon Samanatha & Beth, they were glad to see me. It was good seeing them. We spent the day at MK. I had another friend with me(Dawn),& we got separted. We went in to see the princesses, Cinderella was first & she asked my name. I told her Sharon, Oh let me correct that Queen Sharon. She bowed & said how do you your majesty. After we saw all the princesses Cinderella ask we get all in the picture together. I don't have the picture, Dawn has it.

for dinner we all went back to my friends house & she had dinner ready for us.
SS & Beth & father left after dinner. They had a 2 hour ride to Bradenton. On the west side south of Tampa.

One night we went to CICI's for Pizza. It is a pizza buffett.

Of course we went to DTD, I had my friends try Earl of sandwich. They just said they were ok.

Not much else to tell.

Glad John is walking.

Hi Cristi and Queen Sharon. Good to hear from both of you. We'll be heading to Orlando in September.

We're having very hot days here. I take John out first thing in the morning, then we have to find ways to be entertained inside until after dinner.

Hi guys, I wonder if anyone is still around. Brad and I had fun in Corpus Christi and the kids had a blast in Orlando with my parents. Jacob just started taking Tae Kwon Do and is really enjoying it. We got Rachel a cell phone a couple of weeks ago and she is going crazy with that (I just told her the other day she needs to slow it down ). What is up with everyone else? We have another wedding this weekend to go to and then on Monday Brad has a business trip.

Hi Cristi...I'm still here.

We're in the process of moving. We found a foreclosure that has 3571 square feet. We'd never be able to afford this otherwise, so we went for it. It is in the same neighborhood that DH's parents live in...walking distance to school, library, down town. They wouldn't take a contingency, so we thought we'd be paying for 2 houses. Thankfully, we now have a contract on our house. We will have to close on the new house first, but only by a week or so. I have to buy all new appliances b/c the previous owners took theirs.

We are going to the beach Sunday-Wednesday. Rachel meets her teacher on Thursday and starts school on July 21.

Things are a blur...

Hey Susan,good to hear from you! Did you get moved in to your new house yet? It sounds like you got a great deal on it. Did Rachel have to change schools? How is school going for her so far? We just got back from quick trip to Albuquerque to see my brother and family. Rachel has middle school registration on Tuesday and then both of the kids start school on the 12th.

Hi Cristi,

We closed on Wednesday, July 23, painted for 3 days, then moved in on Saturday. We still have painting, unpacking, organizing and cleaning to do. I have to keep reminding myself of the good deal we got...

Rachel did not have to change schools. She's in a charter school, so we could move anywhere and she wouldn't have to change schools. We actually live with in walking distance to her school and have been walking every day. I just wish it would cool off. The current temperature is 93..ugh.

I'm glad you had a nice vacation. We're ready for one!!

Hello, everyone

I'll be heading to WDW with DH, & DS, we will meet up with Sharon Samantha, & Beth. Going Sept 20-27, 08 DH & I will be celebrating our 41 wedding anniversery (SP) Sept 23, we will be dinning at Boma.

Next April, 2009 going on the Disney Magic eastern cruise to tortola. it is a new Island they are going to. Going with a friend, Gloria.

Susan, that is great you are so close to Rachel's school. That will make life easier. The middle school is basically at the end of our street so that will be great for Rachel to walk to school this year.

Sharon, good to hear from you. It sounds like you have some nice trips planned coming up.

I heard that Stacie is pregnant again. I haven't talked to her in awhile though.

Where is everyone. I miss chatting with you. Every one the Olympics. We watched ladies Volleyball lose to Brazil. most of the last set was close or tied up.

Leaving the 29th for a cruise to Alsaka. Had credit from another cruise I had to use or lose. Going with a friend I went on the MED last year.

You had me pegged, Sharon. I have been watching the Olympics a lot. I am glad tonight is the last night. I need to catch up on my sleep. Kids started school a couple of weeks ago. They both seem to like it so far. Not a lot else going on with us. Brad just put in a new back door (sliding glass) today. It looks nice. Talk to you later!

Hi everyone. I'm glad the olympics are over too. Now I can get to sleep at a normal time.

Rachel has been sick 2 separate times since school started on July 21. She usually doesn't run high fevers, but had 103 temps both times. The first time they said a virus. They said the same thing on Monday, but ran all kinds of tests just to be sure. I hate new school years and germs. Thankfully, John seems to have avoided the germs so far.

When is the next cruise meet? I'm ready for a day on Castaway Cay!!
