12/10/05 ~ Anyone else cruising.....??

Linda, I have confidence you will make it to the night clubs this time even if we have to leave the kids with our DHs and go by ourselves one night ;) . On the 4 day that is what I did one night. I wanted to see the magician and so did my new cruise friend. Our older kids both wanted to go to the clubs, but our younger two didn't want to. Both of our DHs were great and took the younger kids so that we could go out. It was really good. We had some drinks, saw the magician and stayed for a little bit of 70s night.

Lilly,

You can tell your DH that my wife and I were at Jacob's field for the Indians game last night and it was COOOOOOLD! Once the sun went down, and the wind was blowing, that 45 degrees felt like 45 below! To add insult to injury, they went to 10 innings and still lost!

Ahhh, the life of a Cleveland Sports fan!

John

I had another cruise dream last night. This one was a little different though. In most of my other ones, we wander the ship for the whole trip, never finding our room or any of the restaurants. In this one I just couldn't every find any Navigators so I never knew what was happening. I kept going back to my room to look for them and all day long the beds were still unmade. I was trying to go to guest services to get Navigators and I couldn't find guest services anywhere. :confused3

Maybe I need to try to stay off of the boards for awhile and see if the dreams stop. Or at least not check the boards multiple times a day. Maybe if I could go to every other day or something? Yeah, like that will happen. :rotfl2:

LOL! SURE you can do that, Cristi!!! LOL! It was tough being out of touch for four days for me. :) We went up to VA to visit good friends who are also Disney nuts. The parents will never go on a ship though so the kids are going to work on their GM who wants to take a Disney cruise to take them with her. LOL!

John - that is my DH's name as well!! Funny about the Indians - we went up there for the 4th of July about three years ago and had to buy jackets by the end of the game it was so cold!!!

Do they offer the tea with Wendy on the 7 night still? On the DCL website it just has it as an activity on the 3 night - but when we went on the 3 night it wasn't on there.....

Yes, they have the Tea With Wendy on the 7 night in Studio Sea. You need to pick up tickets at the GS desk on the first day. On the 3 & 4 night it is an activity in the kid's clubs. I am debating about doing that with the kids this time. I think that I will pick up the tickets & see how it is going. I think that it is on Monday.

Has anyone else checked their cruise price lately? There is a thread on the board commenting on the amounts cruises have gone up. We switched to this cruise in January & it has gone up almost 1500 since we booked!!! :)

I just looked at our cruise and it has gone up around $600. At first it looked like more, but then I took off the transfers and insurance.

LOL! We never get those so I forgot about that. :) Well, it should be up to at least that by the time we cruise. ;)

will have to check and see how much mine has gone up. I believe you have all heard about the ship that got hit with that rogue wave......yikes!! Not really worried about our trip, but it does make you go hmmmmmm. For once I am glad I have an inside cabin.

For a cheapie Cat 11 it's gone up 300-500 bucks

Jordan, we are headed down your way in just about 8 weeks. We leave Oregon on June 17 and will be in Anaheim on the 18th. We will be doing DL on the 20, 21, 22. Cannot wait. That is our Disney "fix" between our Cruise Disney "fixes."

Angie,

I have friends in town the week before doing a Disneyland/DCA visit. I may have to get an annual pass again. Let mine expire. Disneyland had so many rehabs going on;it didn't seem worth it. I will probably get one sometime in May.....

I am looking forward to the cruise....that Vista Spa........it has my name writtien all over it.

We love the Spa too. We make a point of spending some time in the Rainforest every day and get at least one spa treatment. Have done the couples massage the last couple of trips. I am thinking about trying the sea weed wrap this time.

Jordo, I think you are glad that you have ANY cabin as long as you don't have to sleep on the couch for once :teeth:

Hee hee hee.

7.5 more months to go!

Yeah, at 43...I think I can move from the kid's table and get my own bed and my own room.

Angie, as far as spa treatments, I don't know if I'd ever do the wraps/scrubs. I love massages so much it would be hard for me to do anything else.....

I have talked my DH into doing a couples massage. He has never had a massage before, but I love them! Now, I just need to get the REAS reserved.

I am glad that the wave & pier accident in Costa Maya will be forgotten by the kids by the time we cruise. :) They saw the pictures online over my shoulder when I thought that they were playing & asked if Mickey was ok. :)
