I can't keep a secret at all. I'm the one shaking all the Christmas presents under the tree even though I wrapped them. We don't put names on them and every day I shake them and make a dramatic "I wonder what this could be?" production. I hate secrets, but the kids already think that they are way spoiled going two years in a row 2005 and 2006, I hate to think of them bragging that their family has two cruises booked. My parents will just die. They don't understand it at all.

I know what you mean about people not understanding. We head to Florida every year. My brother thinks we are crazy for always going to the "same place." We love it and I'm not ashamed of that!! I am a DISNEY LOVER!

I just ordered a Jack Sparrow costume from Disney Shopping. It will be for my husband for Halloween and Pirate Night. I am very excited about the whole pirate thing. Will others be dressing up for pirate night? I did my pirate name and it came back as Captain Anne Cash...does that mean I am bossy?????

Our family also thinks we are nuts, BUT we are slowly converting them. Our kids have gone with us and are now addicts as well, just can't afford a yearly trip yet. My DS and DBIL, their 2 kids and their spouses and child are joining us this year and I expect they will never be the same! Dennis' sisiter sent an email two days ago and asked for info on this trip, said she really wants to go, just has to convince her DH. We also have converted my stepsister who was going to go with us this year also, but now works for a company that absolutely will not allow vacations during the Christmas shopping season. We still have alot of family and friends that think we are absolutely insane though.

Speaking of insane...Dennis' pirate name is Insane Izzy Kidd.

I'm thinking we will wait until we are onboard to book our next to get the onboard credit and the discount, then move it to DU. I REALLY, REALLY, REALLY want to do the 14 day transatlantic in May. Oh my goodness! Wouldn't that be fun! But, if we are going to do that we probably need to book right after they are announced because the price will go nowhere but up by Dec!

Have any of you ever printed up Cast Member appreciation cards to take and give out for special moments? Here is a website incase you don't know what I'm talking about. (sometimes I don't either 1 ) ***********/app/cmcards.stml oops, guess that is one we can't post here. Maybe Lisa can tell me how to get the samples here without breaking the Board rules.


We have taken them along the last 2 cruises. We also hand them out at the parks and resorts if a castmember gives us a Magic Moment. We gave one to the DCL hostess that helped us get onto the DCL bus last year and she actually got teary. That was cool!

I made up cards, they were really cute. I can't remember what the website was but I thought I got it from a post that was on this board...maybe not?

Mark-we just used them to hand out to people who did something really great for us...sometimes with candy or sometimes with nothing other than the thank you. The CMs really appreciated the appreciation!

Thanks, it's one of the dolphins we met at Dolphin Encounters in Nassau. The dolphin we played with was Abaco. We didn't know it then but found out later that Abaco is one of the islands in the Bahamas. The picture is of a dolphin that was entertaining by doing flips and stunts while we waited for the ferry to come back and get us, not sure if it's Abaco or a different one. You can tell by the picture though how blue the water was.

Only 282 days and we'll be on our way!!!!

Yes, Mark, they are business size cards with Disney characters and Disney greetings on them, i.e. Thank you for making our cruise Magical or Thanks for the Magic Moment, etc. I also got the link off this board a couple of years ago. I am not sure why I can't post it now.

Hey, Not sure about the exc. thing. Becouse I really want to do the Tulum ruins. I would love to go with the group and David, but I also want to goto the fishing village and shop. So I think we will do the village, when we get back (kids want to stay on the ship, but do want a mass on the beach also) pick up the kids shop in the port, then go throught the fence and hang there with them. I think they are going to get there cousins a hammic and a swinging chair for christmass. If anyone else wants it I posted this thread with info on the beach on the right side of the boat dock, the port is on left. Even if we don't go on Davids tour withthe group would someone mind taking our school supplies, and getting a few pic of the kids and school for us, thanks.
