gosh you guys, I can't keep up here!!! This thread is going nuts!!

No Lisa - we haven't upgraded, although DH is not that thrilled with what we have.

It was in the 40's here this morning!! SO cold.....

they finally have the coping around our pool!! Keep in mind we signed our contract in June of '05, we should be swimming by now! Hopefully within the next month or so it should be finished!

Sad that Peyton and Rex both lost. I don't really care for any of those teams but I do pull for certain players...and I can't stand Pitt....their coach rubs me the wrong way!

Hopefully this week I can keep up with you all!

Lisa, I like the second pic more that the first, (just thinking of scoop placement on the female body.) But the first is good aswell, maybe a little twicking as you indicated earlier.

I like the idea of a male colour and a female colour, too.

I hope the kids will be ok with DH going away for such a long time,

Karen, OUCH!! Now you can either find someone who can tell you how to get that blue out without ruining your floors, or change your color scheme in your kitchen to blue (they have some cool blue Mickey kitchen stuff out now) and tell everyone you added the touch to the floors on purpose. Might start a home fashion trend!

Lisa, either design is good for us. I love them both. I also like the idea of pink for us girls (Sweetpea will LOVE that) and blue for you boys. Also, I would definately put it on the back of the shirt so that the ice creams are not "right there" on us girls.

Hi all--
By the end of the week I'm hoping to have our reservations made for the two nights before the cruise. We can't decide where to stay, my cheap (or budget-minded) side wants to stay at a moderate like Coranado Springs but my you-only-live-once side wants to stay at the Poly. I'm having a hard time justifying the deluxe price to myself. Any advice? I was glad to see on Disney's sight that Magical Express was still available for December, I had heard mumblings that it was going to be over in the fall, when the 50th was over.

Stacie, if we plan to be out at the parks from dawn to dusk my cheap side wins out, if we plan to spend time at the resort then my once in a life time self would win.

Really, I'm happy with either one, they're awfully nice!!!! I like Mark's idea about the colors too.

Lisa--The shirt designs look great, I like Angie's idea of putting the design on the back of the shirt. Maybe just the Mickey shape on the front? Two colors sound fun, do we all have our own made or does one person take care of everybody's? We have a reasonably priced place in our area I could check with if you want me to. Your family will be in our thoughts, I'm glad that you get to visit in a month.

After record highs yesterday it is definately looking like winter today. Somehow, I missed the discussion everyone was having about Girl Scout cookies, yes it is that time. The sale here started the 6th and runs through the end of the month. Then we sell again in March at booth sales, don't forget that they freeze really well and you can enjoy them all year long. The mints are really good broken up in ice cream.

All we have for Girl Guide (Scout) cookies are vanilla and chocolate and at xmas we have not so thin mint chocolate covered waffers.

And we have not had one troop member come around to take orders since I was a Guide in 1986. And one of my mother's co-workers is a troop leader and even she dosen't ask if we want to order any.

You guys have all the good stuff down there.

The shirt designs are great, I like the sec better also. I don't do pink but would do a blue if that is what you choose. So my fam. would all match. Do someone have a cost yet? or will it be a copy and print it on your computer and iron it on? Does anyone how how to google and see if they can find if they started anything on C.C. yet. Love the shirt designs!

Either design is fine with me, but I like the cones best. Would like it on the back also unless it is about 3 inch diameter on the front - where the alligators usually go.

The suggestion of the large design on the back and a small Mickey or DCL logo on the front sounds good to me.

ROFL!!! Yes, the design would go on the back & the front could have something with the DIS ID & your name? I was thinking that we could just print them out ourselves & iron them on. I like the idea of matching within the family too. I'll call around tomorrow & also ask some DISers who have had shirts made who they used.

Hey guys. It has been a busy weekend.

First - Lisa, been thinking of you all day. Hope you guys are doing okay. We're here to make you laugh! Hopefully my Sunday paint story did that. But here's a hug for ya...

Second - speaking of paint. I bet Martha Stewart didn't know that when the blue paint dries in between your brown hard wood floor that you can take that liquid Old English and it will stain that blue brown again. Now our cracks didn't always look that dark (kinda sounds like I'm talking about something else, doesn't it?!!!) BUT - dark brown is better than blue.

We actually have a flavor of ice cream here called "Girl Scout Thin Mint" DW came home with a container of it the other night - it is a chocolate mint Ice Cream with pieces of the thin mint in it by Edy's. I only allow myself ice cream about once a week anymore, and it is a sore temptation. The cookies also move fast around here when they fill up the pantry, unfortunately, my main supplier (a sister of one of DS's friends) has grown out of girl scouts, so what will I do??? Have to find another supplier somewhere.

I never thought about the placement of those cones for you ladies - typical male thinking (or lack therof). It sure did make me laugh as I pictured it though after you guys pointed it out.

Lisa - just a reminder for Mike, that I will be in DC on Feb, 5,6, and 7th for my school board stuff. As it looks right now though, my only time free will be on the evening of the 5th (which is also SuperBowl Sunday). That's the day I fly in, and the conference starts on Monday. I meet with my Congressman on Tuesday (no Indian Tribe money from me though), and I have to fly out at 6:30 am on Wednesday in order to get home for my school board meeting that night. I'm a cheapskate, so I am flying Airtran to DC, which is by way of Atlanta.

I'll probably watch the SuperBowl in my room or go to the hotel watering hole to watch. Staying at the Grand Hyatt right in Downtown.
