Hey Angie--
I'm on.
DH and DD are sick with colds so my house is pretty quiet. I went to church this morning to do my Sunday School stuff, other than that it is laundry day. DS is just hanging out, tired from the Boy Scout Campout.

Mark-there was a small article in our regional newspaper (The Press Enterprise) today that caught my eye. The article was entitled "Pitch tents in the den for a family 'camp-in'" and it included a picture!!!! Well, the article is about the Taits in Danville!!!!! The picture is the one you posted here where your daughter is looking up at the photographer while you guys are all busy. It's only a few paragraphs long. It's basically a synopsis of your idea from the Family Fun book and the last paragraph plugs Family fun's "My Great Idea" book.

Do you want me to mail you the article? If so, PM me with your mailing addy. Our scanner's broken so I'm not able to scan it, else I would.

Happy day everyone!

Lisa W.

Have any of you ever been to the Broadway version of "The Lion King"? It will be in Des Moines for a few weeks in March and April? I think we're going to go, something Disney to look forward to :) and it's less than 313 days away.

It's after 1 pm and Dennis is still sleeping. That's good because he needs to go to work tomorrow. It is very, very quiet here though. The dog is happily sleeping out on the front porch, DGS is still sleeping also. I'm doing laundry and :surfweb: .

Wow! Mark and family are going to be true celebs before this is over. Very cool. :cool1:

We saw the Lion King in Cleveland last year - we really liked it, and the costuming is amazing. If you have a chance you won't regret it.

John

Angie--
I know your DGS that's cruising with you is from the SW somewhere, you have grandkids in OR too? Sorry, still trying to piece everything together.

Hey John--
I'm jealous that you had such nice weather yesterday. It rained all day yesterday here and is gloomy today, hope it doesn't come your way.

Yes, we have 2 DGSs in Oregon, the oldest and his mom live with us. He is 16 (YIKES!). The other lives with his Dad just a few miles from us and spends alot of time with us also. We also have 2 (boy and girl - our only DGD) that live just a bit north in Washington State (these 2 are Shannon's DH's kids and live with their mom - his ex, they spend every other weekend and some holidays with Shannon and/or us) and then the youngest. Aaron, in AZ with our DS and DDIL. More than you want to know :teeth: . Keeps me busy trying to keep them straight too!

It is really :umbrella: here today. I had not been out in the yard for awhile, too much :umbrella: to even go outside, and I just noticed yesterday that we have a fir tree down! Sheesh! Too much rain and then some wind. :sad2: We'll have to cut that up when the weather clears a bit. Just really glad it fell AWAY from the house. :thumbsup2

Saw it here in Toronto, it was great! Breathtaking, wow! Do it, you will not regret it at all. I had an aisle seat and some of the action at the beginning is in the aisles, very cool.
