Night before, we usually get a priceline hotel near airport...but may try one of the new port hotels in cocoa beach next year.

Tell me about the new port hotels in cocoa beach...I know nothing.

You got a great price...when did you book? Did anyone get the transfers? We have them but, I wasn't sure on that. If you're flying in the day before and staying at a port hotel I'm thinking I wouldn't need the transfers? We've cruise the Magic but it was here in CA so this is all new to me! Thanks in advance!!!

Since everyone is sharing pics....here is one of my two DD's!!! At 2006 cruise time they will be 4 and almost 2!

it seems our group keeps growing - how awesome!! Our 2005 cruise is coming up fast and 12/2006 will be here before you know it!!

Tell me about the new port hotels in cocoa beach...I know nothing.

I saw a thread awhile back from Shirley (snelsonbrown) Her and her husband actually live in cocoa beach and said that a couple chains were building new hotels....I've got to look them up myself...(there was alot of hurricane damage in cocoa in fall 2004. So many hotels rebuilt but some are brand new too.)

You got a great price...when did you book? Did anyone get the transfers? We have them but, I wasn't sure on that. If you're flying in the day before and staying at a port hotel I'm thinking I wouldn't need the transfers?

We booked our cruise on board the Wonder Dec 2004. It would have been cheaper but we only booked DH and me onboard and then added my DD a couple months later so she doesn't have the onboard 10% discount on her.
We originally had a cat 11 for $2250 but then I saw a SPR open up two weeks ago and when I called they said it would only be $75 more so I grabbed that of course..... My DH doesn't even know yet.... The surprise is killing me.....

As for transfers.....In the 5 times we've done DCL we've never done transfers...It's easy to rent a car and get to the port and we prefer to be on our own schedule...(not Disney's) With this cruise being 7day (ie like $85 for parking at the port)...we're probably going to do the one way rental for budget or avis to/from the port.

It looks like the kids are getting more space to play that includes a virtual ships bridge, the spa is being enlarged and upgraded and an outdoor movie screen is being added to the Goofy pool.

We're in!!

It will be mself, DH, DD12, DD8. and DD3 at cruise time. We just got back from a 3 day less than 2 weeks ago and the kids (myself and DH included) liked it better than the parks! I am still on the Disney Cruise high so I am also looking at something earlier than this too, but of course that is easier said than done. My friend is going in January so I may just hide in her luggage ! This is going to be a looooong wait!!

I'm suffering from DCL withdrawl since we didn't cruise this year (twice last year though) and that 14 month wait will be a killer....

I just wanted to say good morning all. We will be attending a Redneck 40th birthday party next weekend, so I had to go to the big city and go thrift shopping for costumes. Oh my gosh, I found a tinkerbell wand, but the best find of the day was a pluto pirate hat, the one from the cruise broc. this one says disneyland but hey I wasn't being picky. My DH said he was going to wear it to the redneck party with his overalls and flannel shirt, Him and ds6 were fighting over it. lol Just wanted to let you know, I found a really "NICE" pink skirt (ya right) and Decided we are going to get our christmass pictures done there and then have cards made and send them out. It will be so funny. After we get thier I will post a pic of it, man I can't wait. dsd 15 said noway is she waring the matching overalls I got her and dh, well see. see ya later.
