OMG! That banana thread is a RIOT! I was laughing so hard I couldn't sign back on. Then of course the "quiet ones" (yeah you Suzanne) come out and post about the a banana protector! And Brack - all serious in response to that ladies 3-4 banana comment. I was waiting to see Amy post on the banana holder - or was that you John1. Where is that picture of it.

I wanted so bad to reply but I didn't want DCL to see my name on a thread like that never mind that it is on this one. Karen you are so so fresh. Becka, Brandi - sooooo innocent. I could see your "who me" eyes all the way over here.

That just made my night. Of course I say that everytime I come on here. What did John1 write earlier about on a break from life to DIS. That statement says it all!

From bingo to bananas this is going to be one heck of a trip!

Well guys, I am going to be MIA for the day tomorrow . . .

I know it breaks your hearts as much as it breaks mine (I will be the one pages and pages behind). I will be at a labor law seminar for work, and to get some CLE credit for my license. It should be a thrilling day.

It is put on by the law firm that handles our negotiations, and about 1,000 people attend every year, from all over the country. One year, they even had Jerry Springer as the lunch speaker.

After that, I have a benefit dinner to go to for our HS Boys Basketball team.

So it may be a late night before you see me again.

I need to go offline now. I am into this cool book and I also have a netflix movie I need to see the end of so I can return it tomorrow. Which to do - hmm - Of course I can watch the movie and because the book is on my iPod I can bring that to bed and listen comfortably there. Yeah sounds like a plan.

I took DME last October, but did not receive my tags, due to delivery method. It took over 7 hours to get my bags, lol. This time I will have tags, so maybe just 5 hours to get my bags.

Note to self: pack in day bag clothes for MVMCP.

Thanks for setting me straight, Marielle!!! Those applecrisps should be ready soon with the best apples in season, right? I'll drop the kids off at Kathryn's and hop on the plane myself. Yeah! That's it! I will save money that way too.

don't do applecrisps, well at least not yet. That would be apple dumplings or apple pies made with honeycrisps! And you are welcome to join us and all the naughty kids that need to hide out at grandma's anytime!

That's right. We live just far enough off the beaten path (like a mile!) that we get nothing but dial-up.

We had horrendous winds here today. Our freestanding canopy in our backyard flew across the yard, (probably tumbled over and over) and wound up next to the fence (about 40 feet away)... knocking over everything in its path, and shattering the glass top patio table. I guess we should be lucky it didn't flip over the fence into the neighbor's yard.

That canopy was over $300 and we've only had it since August It's all bent up now. It gets windy sometimes but it's never been bad enough to blow stuff like this around, ugh.
