Dh is going to be in a tournment at WWofS on 12/7, 12/8, 12/9...I said no to 12/9 but if anyone wants to hit WWS you can see their tourney team in action. I think he'll play on the 8th only.

Will you be hitting the parks with the girls?

I had to do some grocery shopping after work so I need something quick for dinner. I picked up one of those grocery store rotissere chickens (those things are so good) and I tried some of the Betty Crocker Seasoned Skillet Potatoes. I think they are new and they were really good and they were done in 15 minutes.

If someone is looking for a quick potato side dish you might want to try these.

Brandi - I ended up with wine...I had to do it like shooters in the kitchen so she didn't know. Lovely.

John is on his way home and I am over being mad...and I got Samantha a great surprise I read about on the boards today. We are dining at Coral Reef for lunch on Friday. They are going to have a diver in the tank take a sign in the water that reads "Happy 4th Birthday Samantha, Love Mommy, Daddy and Haley"....I also ordered a cake! The woman I spoke with was soooo nice. and I actually made the dining reservation at the restaurant podium. I am not telling John so I think it will be great...(and if I already posted this ignore me. My wine shots are getting to me)

I had to dig around the closets for some warm clothes. Jasmine, the fairy and my half pirate costume will be cold Thurs night. My sister is BEYOND excited but her costume is supposed to arrive tomorrow. She has been tracking it. I also had to did out CJS for John and I am not quite she how the belt thingie goes but hey, he can at least do that for himself.

Well, I better get back to packing...I am going to dread opening this thread come Sunday night.

V - sorry to hear about the wine shooters!!! That is rather funny! Your birthday surprise is amazing!!!! I am sure she will love it!! Make sure you get a picture of it!

Well,

Only 17 pages behind, I guess I should count that as a good night after last night's frenzy.

We went to a benefit concert for our school levy tonignt. It was all Billy Joel music from a band called the "Big Shot" band in our brand new theatre. You bad geeks would love this . . . They had the HS band play with the rock band on "Only the Good Die Young" 200 strong on the stage, it was really cool.

The Men's ensemble "drifters" also sang with the band on "for the longest time".

It was really fun!

That is how I pack, I could run a clinic on the ship , if anyone is interested. Really keeps the suitcase neat and tidy.

Lisa - I am not sure...my mom, sis and grandma will all be at the world as well. I would love to see him play...without being distracted but I hate tournaments. You play one game and if you win, you play again, if you lose you sit around for hours waiting to play and you usually can't leave since you may be moved up according to other games. I guess Thurs night they play and that is the party night....so he can't do that and then Fri we really hadn't finalized plans yet. Maybe I can paint the town alone!!

Raise? Must be nice...I've been with my company for 18 mo without even a review. They told me 2 mo. ago I would be getting a $3000-4000 raise but just haven't seen it yet. Maybe I need to do something...

Well,

I did not post this earlier, but our non-union people (managers, supervisors and office) have not had a raise since January 2004 . . . it has been a really rough business climate for us.
