and John, I dug out two Indians jackets - we bought those on the 4th of July weekend one year up in Ohio when we couldn't handle the cold!!


DH now thinks we are going to start a vineyard and become rich. His uncle sent him five grape plants that he started for us.........

the awful part is that my parents are there right now. they went on the members cruise. my DF did not want me to get on the thread for the members cruise. he thinks it is really weird to be talking with people I don't even know. he told me that when he goes on vacation, he doesn't want to know anyone there except his family. he also will not do any shore excursions or Paolo ressies because he doesn't want to have to be anywhere at a certain time. I guess I don't get my vacation planning from him.

Where you on the ship that cruise? I have read some accounts. It sounded like a very scarey night.

Yes we were on that cruise. I should probably have been afraid but I was so sick from food poisioning. It was something that I had eaten on shore the day before. All I could do was throw up in the wine buckets at our station in Animators Palate at 4AM.

After it was over it was really a good experience. The crew did an incredible job and it made us feel so safe we have cruised four more times.

This was our first cruise ever by the way.

Dh is going to be in a tournment at WWofS on 12/7, 12/8, 12/9...I said no to 12/9 but if anyone wants to hit WWS you can see their tourney team in action. I think he'll play on the 8th only.

what kind of tourney is he playing in? sorry I haven't followed the thread much and am just interested.

It's been the banana posting that got us this far...the least I could do was ask about Bananas, right?!!

I am not sure DD would go. she has a hearing impairment and really does not do well with loud places. it tends to cause overload with or without hearing aides. she loves High School Musical but she has never asked to go to any concerts. my 1st concert was probably about 14--my DF took me and my sister to see Shaun Cassidy live. DF never took us to another concert.

so John1 how's your weather? we actually had snow flurries this morning and yesterday afternoon.

DD said she was getting out of my neighbor's car to catch the bus to school today and her BF told her to get back in the car. there was a buck standing in the middle of the road not even 20 feet from them. we live in a residential area and woods are quite a ways away. she really thought it was neat. she couldn't get her phone out fast enough to get a picture.

Hey all! I'm still at work...dreading going home actually. The Outlawz will be over and DH said they are staying to see the girls...drat. Let's see - they have been in Ohio all summer and haven't called to see how they are or anything yet know they want to come over? I will remain calm, I will remain calm, I will remain calm....buy a bottle of Jack on the way home....I will remain calm.

So, this sounds TERRIBLE, but I hope they are not planning on staying for dinner.

Phew . . .

They're finally gone. Ohio is safe again!

My sis just called me, seems somehow she roped my mom into coming up Saturday night to babysit for Pleasure Island.

Interesting.

Should be fun...last time we all played twister at one of the bars, drank from beach buckets at another, got completely drenched on arrival after spending 2 hours getting hair #7582 patted down just right, all in all ---vettechick's good times!

I love these rates but my problem is I can't book within 90 days...that would go against every planning principle in my body!
