I mean, the reason I'm asking is b/c my DMIL is coming to my house this weekend. ..... I need to know what lines work!!

Just show up at the front door dressed like a banana and tell them you are expecting to hear from some friends soon, ask them if they want to join in....I'm SURE you will be left alone.

Just have plenty of coffee and donuts for the guys in white suits who come to visit too!

Hey all! I'm still at work...dreading going home actually. The Outlawz will be over and DH said they are staying to see the girls...drat. Let's see - they have been in Ohio all summer and haven't called to see how they are or anything yet know they want to come over? I will remain calm, I will remain calm, I will remain calm....buy a bottle of Jack on the way home....I will remain calm.

So, this sounds TERRIBLE, but I hope they are not planning on staying for dinner.

So...how did that bottle of Jack work out for ya?

So has anyone ever been to one of those places where you make a whole bunch of meals in a very short time?

Our local one is called Main Dish. I made 12 meals in 2 hours....tonight I came home and popped MExican Lasagna in teh oven....that took 30 seconds...dinner will be ready in 25 minutes.

so far we love the food and dinner time is AMAZINGLY easy.

yes, I love Let's Dish! I can make 16 meals (8 meals cut in half) in less than 2 hours. Plus the instructions for actual dinner day are so easy that dh doesn't mind making dinner if I am busy. I'm going again this Sunday with one of my best friends. Going with friends makes the 2 hours just fly by!

I think that Kim & Amy have talked about those places in the past. The closest one here is over 2 hours away.

Ask if they have a good recipe for chicken pot pie. Might be worth the trip!

Stress...you don't know stress

.... I have a project that's for older adults that i had to deny today. (not my fault) The developer had promised these people that they could go to settlement on Monday and Tuesday..(Uhhhh they don't even have certificate of occupancy yet

...)

I feel bad i had to tell a 70 yr old women that it's probably a no go for her move (yes, i'm the bad guy

)...To top that off when i was reviewing her unit it looks like the builder's screwed up and violated building seperation and her house is too close to the next one. Yeah now the builder has turned the buyers on me.

I have to screen all my calls...It's a nightmare....

Brandi - I ended up with wine...I had to do it like shooters in the kitchen so she didn't know. Lovely.

John is on his way home and I am over being mad...and I got Samantha a great surprise I read about on the boards today. We are dining at Coral Reef for lunch on Friday. They are going to have a diver in the tank take a sign in the water that reads "Happy 4th Birthday Samantha, Love Mommy, Daddy and Haley"....I also ordered a cake! The woman I spoke with was soooo nice. and I actually made the dining reservation at the restaurant podium. I am not telling John so I think it will be great...(and if I already posted this ignore me. My wine shots are getting to me)

I had to dig around the closets for some warm clothes. Jasmine, the fairy and my half pirate costume will be cold Thurs night. My sister is BEYOND excited but her costume is supposed to arrive tomorrow. She has been tracking it. I also had to did out CJS for John and I am not quite she how the belt thingie goes but hey, he can at least do that for himself.

Well, I better get back to packing...I am going to dread opening this thread come Sunday night.

Dh is going to be in a tournment at WWofS on 12/7, 12/8, 12/9...I said no to 12/9 but if anyone wants to hit WWS you can see their tourney team in action. I think he'll play on the 8th only.
